Turns out The Edge and others are asking the same. They've agreed to Bono playing the guitar on one or three songs but not the entire set. There is a reason why the guitar is being played. Bono struggled deeply to record a song about his Mother. He nearly put it away forever. Until he came across John Lennon's song about his Mother. Singing the song is a struggle. Holding the guitar gives him comfort.
