Katelyn Benton began her professional music career as a pre-teen, playing piano in shopping malls and performing her original songs in many of Denver’s acclaimed music venues before she could drive. Benton graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston before moving to Los Angeles to further expand her career in writing, singing and performing music. In 2009, Benton independently released a 5 song EP (Once), won the award for “Best Music Video” at the JP Folks Awards in Nashville (“Impossible Love”), and celebrated by running 100 miles straight (no joke).
