Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast am on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
And welcome back to Coast to Coast George Noriy with you,
Lori and Spanya is an author, speaker, spiritual catalyst, intuitive guide,
communicator with animals and starseed who has transformed the lives
of thousands of humans and animals via her channeled ascension
Guidance intuition program. Laurie is founder of the Sacred Visionary

(00:26):
Mentorship for soul centered visionaries who want to make a
global impact using intuitive guidance. One of her books include
Learn Animal Communication and Telepathy. Laurie, welcome back, have you been?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I'm wonderful, Thank you so much for having me today.
How have you been?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I am fine, I'm looking forward to this. And how
did you get involved in communicating with animals?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Oh? You know, it happened years ago. When what happened
was so interesting, My brother died of an unexpected drug overdose.
Oh many years ago. Yeah, I mean at the time
it was horrible, but now I under stand, right, I
understand the role of it, of his crossing, and I
started getting messages from him right away. It took me

(01:08):
about a year to unpack that and overall the big
message was like, you're on a similar path as me.
You need to change. And the thing I always wanted
to do is to help animals. So I quit my
job at the time and I just started working with animals.
And right away I started hearing them. I started hearing dogs,

(01:29):
and they would say, you listen to us, you listen
to me, I'll teach you. That's how it started.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Are animals a mixture of human souls and animal souls?
When a human dies, does that ever become an animal?

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Well, that's an interesting question. Ultimately, ultimately you could say
that's true in a sense because ultimately you know, from
the spiritual perspective, we're all part of one divine source,
one originating source. However we understand or define that source
and whatever word we used to define it. But in reality,

(02:06):
in the game of separation, not really. There's animal souls
and there's human souls. And in fact, most animals, if
you communicate with them, will tell you, for the most part,
most of them are not interested. They're not interested in
becoming humans. That's not part of their journey. Not all,
but most of them.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And when you talk about animals, Laurie, we're talking about
primarily dogs, cats, but what about hamsters, monkeys, everything else.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
All animals. I consider humans to be animals in the
sense that scientifically we're part of the animal kingdom. But
we're talking all animals because all animals have the ability
to communicate. They just don't utilize the ways that we use.
They don't. They're utilizing different brainwave frequencies. For example, for

(02:54):
the most part, if you're communicating telepathically, animals will use
a state of brainwaves which humans don't typically know how
to access that we have to learn it. Or there's
other ways. Animals speak a language of energy, right which
humans are learning about energy now we're starting to learn
about that more and how we can utilize that. But

(03:15):
they're just communicating in a different way. But animals have that.
Oh it doesn't matter what their body is, what type
of body they have.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Animals seem to have a common effect on humans, don't
they They do?

Speaker 3 (03:27):
You know why I love that? Isn't that so amazing
about them? They're the healers. They're like sponges energy sponges,
so they pretty much absorb energy around them. So any
energy that's like coming from their humans, they typically will
absorb that in a way to sort of dissipate and

(03:47):
or neutralize the energy and to balance things out. That's
part of the way they help us. Yeah, they do
have a common effect.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
And in terms of how you handle the intuitiveness as
an animal, how do you get into that mode?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Well, for me now I don't there's it's it's very
easy for me now because it's so it's almost so effortless.
But in the earliest stages, when I was first learning,
I was learning how to do it, I had to
practice it. I had to apply it. So from if
someone's wanting to start, for example, you know, meditative states

(04:26):
are a good way to start just practicing. But in truth,
like children have this, they don't have to go to
a meditative state. They're so it's so it's so effortless
if we just allow it. So it's almost like the
easiest way to do it is to just allow it.
It happens organically, just like how do we talk, how
do we communicate? We just allow it, you know, it

(04:48):
just happens. We open up our mouths, we speak, we talk,
we look at body language, we read eyes, we read
you know, all those kinds. We just do it.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yo, Laurie. Right, Yeah, interesting times. These animals have this
incredible ability to offer love.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Don't they.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yes, they are so loving. See, this is one of
my favorite things about animals, George. They in my opinion
and everything I've learned from them, and in terms of
the way they behave even they hold and embody the
virtues the highest qualities that we are learning. It's like

(05:28):
an animal doesn't have to learn forgiveness, like anyone who
steps on a dog's paw and realizes like the dog
loves him two seconds later, Like the dog doesn't have
to learn forgiveness, that's a virtue they already have. And
like magnanimity. Anyone who's ever heard about how they bring
animals into like prisons and how much the animals heal

(05:51):
the inmates, and the animals don't judge the inmates. The
animal doesn't have to learn magnanimity. They love everyone, They
judge no one. Right, So these are virtues. They have
those virtues and we're just beginning to learn them on Earth. Right.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I can't tell you how many times I've been at
the airport, Laurie, and I see people with support animals,
dogs primarily that comfort them on a plane, it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yes, yes, And this is the thing is like they
have not only do they have that kind of calming
energy and the ability to neutralize the energy, but they
also have the ability to demonstrate to us and not
only these virtues, these qualities, these ways of being, but
they can also demonstrate where we're out of balance, so

(06:41):
that we can learn from them in that way. So,
for example, if you're in a fam, if an animal
is in a family where there's extreme fear, the animal
in the family could potentially have like fear aggression or
some kind of extreme anxiety or fear because in a sense,

(07:01):
they're showing they're human, like, this is the energy in
our household, This is what we have to neutralize, what
we have to balance out. So it works both ways.
Sometimes they're extremely calming, otherwise other times they're helping us
to see what the energy is that needs to be
somehow resolved, right, healed or resolved. Does that make sense.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I'm sure you've been at a animal shelter or a
humane society or a state run operation and when you
see these animals in there that are waiting to be
adopted or they're going to be euthanized, what do you
pick up from them?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Well, this is interesting. I mean, I've worked with a
lot of animals and shelters and the fact that's where
I started learning. At the very earliest stages, I was
a dog trainer and I was working with the dogs
in a high kill shelter, and most of the time,
what's going on there is they're so oversticked, simulated, and
confused by not only by one another, but by the

(08:05):
energy that's around them, that they're off themselves. They're not
usually in a very balanced state themselves, because again, they're
they're just picking up on energy. I call them the
psychic sponges in the world. So in a high killed shelter,
for example, they're picking up on people's thoughts in the shelter,
whether the people in there are feeling sorry for them

(08:27):
or whatever those people's issues are. They're picking up on
the stress and anxiety from the other animals that are
coming and going, and they have some awareness at that
level like this isn't a good situation, right?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Are they scared?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
In some cases? I mean, in some cases you can
go in there and you know, right, you know, if
you were to go in there, you know it's a
psychic or an animal communicator.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
It's heartbreaking.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
It's heartbreaking. It is it really is. I think this
is why one of the reasons that human that can
really it's one of those things. You know, we're in
a world right now where there's so many opportunities to
change things for the better, and this is one of
those areas you can look at just where there's anything
that's off. It's up to us as humans to start

(09:16):
to come into this new level of consciousness to realize
we can make change by changing the energy. So even
if you go into like a high kill shelter, or
if for anyone who works or volunteers in any form
of animal shelter or even you know, in a veterinary office,
if that person can learn how to be the energy

(09:39):
of what I would call divine neutrality or even some
form of divine hope or divine inspiration, some energy that
is positively uplifting and positively transforming, it will support and
change the energy and the environment and actually help the animals,

(10:00):
and it could even potentially help an animal to be
to be rescued or adopted, because if an animal who's
in an extremely high stressed situation can be more calm,
more positive, more We don't attribute that to animals more optimistic.
That energy can shift the animals experience and could even

(10:22):
potentially make them more adoptable or even potentially easier for
a veterinarian, for example, to perform whatever you know, health
was health, you know, procedure was necessary. Does that make sense?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
It sure does. What percent of your channeling, Laurie, would
you say is relegated to animals as opposed to humans?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Well, that's an interesting question. I don't know about percentage.
I usually Here's what I do when I'm channeling, is
my form of channeling is very different that. There's a
lot of different kinds of channeling. So you know, the
most famous kind of channeling is trans.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Channel and what is that?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
A trance channel is like when somebody really is in
a trance. So you have your kind of very famous
channelers Abraham Hicks, for example, where the consciousness of the
individuated person, the human identity sort of steps aside, goes
into kind of altered state and allows a new consciousness.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
Edgar Casey, same thing, Edgar.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Casey, great famous example. So that kind of trans channeling,
I don't do that. In fact, when I was in
my early stages of really getting you know, becoming more
and more conscious, I was approached by what I would say,
many beings in the non physical world who would invite
me to channel them through. And in those very early days, somehow,

(11:50):
from my perspective at that time, I felt like it
was the right choice to say no, no entry, Like
I'm a sovereign being, No one gets to take over
my vehicle. Because that kind of channeling is a sort
of possession in a way. One the human person gives
their consent and says, Okay, I'm going to let this

(12:11):
other being, whether it's you know, an angelic or whoever
it is that's coming through them to basically possess in
the sense, their body because they go into their own,
you know, altered state. Sure, so I was never okay
with that. It just never felt right to me, and
I never thought, really thought that I would be a
channel in that sense. But as I developed my gifts

(12:36):
and my capacity to connect with other living beings, either
whether they were in the physical or the non physical world,
and the more I did healing on myself my personality aspects,
the more I was able to just kind of merge
with the consciousness, especially of collectives. So because in a

(12:57):
sense on a certain level where we are all ultimately one,
So I could merge with collectives of groups and bring
through what that collective wanted to share. And I learned
that I could do that for collectives and subcollectives of animals.
But I can also do it with angelic beings ascended masters.

(13:18):
These are beings that do exist, they just exist at
different frequencies or energy vibrational states of consciousness. So it
just became very easy for me to merge and unify
with them and bring through whatever message they wanted to
share without an interruption. Right, because there's other forms of

(13:38):
channeling too, Like some people will just channel and there's
kind of like an interruption there. The interruption is sort
of like they're translating it. They receive it and they
translate it, or maybe they might write it down, like
automatic writing is a form of channeling. So there's all
different kinds. But that's how I do it. I just merge,
I just unify with the consciousness. So for example, if

(14:01):
elephants want to communicate, I can I can communicate with
the collective of all elephants. I could also find if
I wanted to like a local or individuated subgroup of elephants,
or I could communicate with just one.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Now you communicate with the animals that are alive and
that have deceased, right.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Yes, because the ones have crossed over transitioned, right, they're
just they've dropped their body. I mean, I know you
know this on this show, right, they've dropped their body,
but their consciousness continues, sure, just like ours. Just that
happens with us too.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Do they intermingle with humans on the other side, for.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Sure, because they're part of the same soul families like
our animal companions, the ones we love who are become
our family members. Right when they transition, they're still part
of our soul family. And even though they might choose,
just like we might choose, to rea incarnate, have a
new life experience, that part of them that reincarnates just

(15:05):
the same way with us. That part of them that
reincarnates drops drops the memory of the aspect of them
that is eternal and reincarnates. But the aspect of them
that is eternal is always available and can always be
connected with, just like we have that.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
What would you say, Laurie, is the difference between animal
communication and animal telepathy.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Well, animal communication could be lots of things. So you
can communicate with an animal in like so many different ways. Energetically,
you can go heart to heart, you can communicate, you
can communicate visually, you know, visual messages they can send.
But telepathy is using a particular brain wave where you're

(15:55):
literally communicating telepathically brain to brain.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
What do the animals know that we don't know in
terms of telepathy to you? I mean, do they tell
us things of world events, health conditions of their owner?
What do they know?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Yeah? Well, first of all, when they live with their humans,
they pretty much know all their human secrets. So because
they're always picking up and it's not like to embarrass
us or anything, but they're just picking up on whatever
we're thinking and feeling. And a lot of times we
don't even realize a lot of humans, we're not as

(16:32):
conscious all the time of what we're thinking and feeling,
but they're picking it up. And especially since the animals
aren't left analytical brain thinkers the way we are, so
we're always we tend to overutilize our left analytical brain
and that's why we oftentimes say things like we have
a monkey mind. Right, So they're not doing that. They're

(16:55):
just in states of awareness, so they pick up on
all that and they know our secrets. And if you
think about like their state of awareness, right, this is
a great way to understand it. If I were to
say to you, George right now, or to any listener, Okay,
you're aware. You're aware that the country of Australia exists,
but you weren't thinking about it two minutes, you know,

(17:17):
even before I said it. Right, we have this, We
have awarenesses about everything, but we're not thinking about it.
That's kind of how animals are. They have these awarenesses,
but they don't They don't think about it or matriculate
on it the same way we do. So when we're thinking,
it's very easy for them to be aware. Oh there's

(17:37):
that energy. That's what that energy reads as, that's what
it feels like, that's what that thought is. Oh, my human,
that's what my human is experiencing. That's the first part,
and then there's the second part too. It's like animals
in the wild, things that they're aware of that we're

(17:57):
not aware of. Like they're aware of all kinds of
energy and vibration, and they have their own forms of communication.
As well. So they're picking up on the energy of
the environment of nature, and there's consciousness everywhere. There's consciousness
in all of the nature kingdom and all of the
nature realm, so they pick up on that as well,

(18:19):
and they share and exchange information in ways that we
just really haven't really learned in our human world. We're
just starting to learn this stuff.
