HUBzero is an open source software platform for building powerful Web sites that support scientific discovery, learning, and collaboration. These sites are called "hubs" because each becomes a focal point for its user community.Michael Zentner is the Directory of HUBzero, which is one of the many projects he runs. Andy Burnett is the CEO of a scientific creativity consulting firm called Knowinnovation (KI). KI has been a user of Hubzero for about 5 years. More recently, the company has started to actively contribute to the project, and is helping the organisation to become a more widely known open source project.
