Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are a group of highly complex disorders of brain development that affects approx. 1 in 68 children in the U.S. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. Jodi Goldberg, Blooming With Autism, knows firsthand what it means to care for a child with autism; she helps her daughter bloom. The mission of Blooming With Autism is to emphasize the importance of exposing children with Autism to various traditional and non-traditional forms of therapy: ABA, Speech and OT, Music, Art, Karate, Tennis, Gymnastics, etc. Due to financial constraints, many families are unable to provide these for their children. And, what is of benefit is different for each child. Listen live M-F 2:00 pm ET, Joni at
