Born and raised in Chicago, emerging country singer-songwriter, Dana Marie, moved to Nashville in January of 2016. In the past year, she has had the honor of opening up for country artists such as Jana Kramer and Dallas Smith. Now she performs on stages on the legendary Broadway strip in downtown Nashville and beyond.
Her musical influences include Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Bob Marley, Colbie Caillat, Zac Brown Band, Switchfoot, among many others. She draws inspiration from all types of music, but country music just "feels like home."
Besides her obvious love for music, Dana loves spending time outdoors. She loves the simple things - summer nights, handwritten lyrics, guys who can two-step, quality time with family + friends, baseball games, live music, vanilla cupcakes, puppies, and hugs that linger just a moment longer than usual.
