Kerri grew up in a small town in Wisconsin listening to her grandparents classic country records at their cabin on the lake. She remembers singing along with Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline. As she grew older she became interested in sports—basketball in particular—but music and singing never left her heart.
