Stockton Mortgage. Now here's Matt Jones.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Well, when it comes to people being like engaging with
the show Today's day, you should see all the texts
on the text machine calls A five nine, two eight
oh twenty two eighty seven. So what's also crazy to
me about all this, Shannon, are all the various thing
parts of it that are because it's Kentucky Roman's being

(01:28):
the lawyer.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I love it. I mean, come on, he.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Gets out there with his well you know, I'm just look.
Let me tell you this, if I if you ever
get a criminal charge, I mean, he's who I would call.
It's like a serious one, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Yeah, Well, when I when I saw him pop up,
at first, I did a little good because we know him,
and I thought, well, if you are in Louisville getting
a local, and I think Scotty got the right guy, wonder.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Who told it because he can't know Robint And that
was quick.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
I mean, first of all, Romins was at the courthouse
before nine o'clock.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
My thought, and I don't know it all was Valhalla
quickly picked up the phone and.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
The guy who owns Valhalla bailed Scottie out of jail.
That's my point.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
They're trying so hard to make this work that he's
over at the jail getting scotched.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Out of that The owner of Valhalla is the one
that bailed him out.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
No, I had no idea how that happened.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
He got him out out.

Speaker 6 (02:26):
He had a tea time.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yeah, you were big on the tea time in segment one.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
You must have been talking to him.

Speaker 6 (02:33):
Ana was all about it.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
They were like, we are getting you to the tea time.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
I want to know what Meredith Scheffler thought when she
woke up in Dallas to see her husband in a mugshot.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Probably didn't know it. So he had the baby right. Yes,
what a week for that guy. I'm pretty sure it's
earlier this week, by the way.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
But do you think that the president, the guy who
owns Valhalla bails out Austin.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Eck wrote, No, he in jail, tell him to keep it.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I been there tournament, Austin ecro to sitting to Solidaire.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
I wonder if there's like a level of world rankings
that okay, I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Let's look at the leaderboard. Who who did they bail
out of jail? Scotty is he? Yes? All right, let's
go down Rory.

Speaker 7 (03:22):
Yes, Tiger, Yes, absolutely, Brooks koepka, Yeah, defending champion, yes, okay.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
John Rahm yep yeah, recent world number one.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Okay, all right, what about our leader Xander Shaftley.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Because of the circumstances, because he's the leader.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I'm with you, not the leader Hill in jail. That's
like third in the world.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Get out of jail free card if you're the leader.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
If he didn't lead, I don't think he's well, he
still in jail. They're getting Xander out, all right. Uh,
Colin Morikow calling out.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
He's one of the faces of One's one.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
All right, Dustin Johnson.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah, we're kind of getting to that point now where
the cutoff.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
What is the cutoff?

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Who is the person that is the most famous that
they leave in jail?

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Well, okay, but I mean it's good Yesterday Longs in
jail obviously. Uh, let's see Patrick Reid.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
Oh, great one.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Patrick Reid's in jail, and he's in jail because no
one wants to go get him.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, I like Patrick Reid is the line. Patrick Reid's
going to jail. What about say, Heath Thigala, one of
the top ten players in the.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
World, probably likable guy they're getting because.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
He might know who, but the President's not going He's
sending like one of his assistants, VP is.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Going to get no way he's getting out.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
And I'm hoping Full Swing has been filming today.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
I wonderful they're too busy with the tech lady filming her.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
This would be like when our wrestler got arrested in
Harlan at the pop Fest.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
A little different situa a little bit.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
They were both in their car before.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Yeah, not quite the national headline.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
It didn't get to be fair, the world didn't focus
on that situation quite as much.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
I wish more golf nerds were listening. I would love
the game of just going down the whole world golf
rankings of what.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
They bailed him out? Would they bailed them out? All right?

Speaker 4 (05:19):
So let's go to other sports? Do they bail out?
They definitely bail out the UK and the U of
L coach. Yeah, what about the Western coach?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
What are we?

Speaker 5 (05:30):
What is he going into Louisville PD tip offs in
three hours?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
First, who is the Western coach? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Ray something? I think you don't know his name. It
starts with a P. I think he was a LA
something like that. The coach of your team. I've tried
to have him on the show. They haven't been responding.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Maybe because you don't know his name. I will tell you.

Speaker 6 (06:03):
I would like to argue if anybody knows his name.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
I will tell you, having looked it up. If you
called him Ray, he would not answer because that is
not his name.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Is not Ray.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
No, you didn't get him on the show. If you
if you start calling the man Ray P, hang on
what you called.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Him directly and said hey Ray, he would have said
you have the wrong number and hang out. So what's
his actual day, Hank?

Speaker 7 (06:26):
It was one one syllable, Yeah, it was right there
and Drew Matt confusion. I had what it was P right, Yeah,
get to P.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
Thank you points.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
He's right.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
He was an assistant assistant under LUTs. He's going to
keep the train rolling.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Sir, Can I have Ray on the show? This is Hank.
You won't meet no looking for looking for Ray.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
I don't think Hank's getting bailed out either.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Ray P the coach.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
By the way, from now on, I'm calling Hank Ray
P while he's at Western the entire time.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
He's not getting bailed out by you. If you're at
the jail, trying to get Ray out. You go the
can I get out rap? We don't have that, so
you're getting up with a different person.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Who's up now, Amanda? Break somebody else? Right, go ahead, Amanda.

Speaker 8 (07:11):
He's afloat while I've been doing long runs training for
a marathon. And I want to bring you kind of
a different perspective, more of like a psychosocial perspective. When
we opened up the show, or when you open up
the show, you said like, oh my god, he's such
a nice guy.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
And you guys just mentioned I didn't say that that
was Drew. I don't know it, Okay, Drew, I'm sorry, Drew.

Speaker 8 (07:28):
Yes, yes, And I just think it's it's so interesting that,
you know, we watch these shows and we read about
these players and we think that we know them. And
I'm not saying that yes, guilty or a terrible person,
but I just think that as a collective, we're like, oh, yeah,
we know what this person is capable of. And the
other part that I want to add is I think
it's also interesting where these people are getting off getting

(07:49):
help based on their athletic performance, and how often, like
you talked about Tiger earlier, where it's like twenty nineteen
was so great because he did so well despite what
was going on in his life, and that kind of
back and forth of how we you people and their
performance and who they are.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I think that's a really great point.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
As I said to to Billy, the fact that he
had a tea time, I appreciate the call should really
have nothing to.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Do with I my legit.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
If you wanted me, if I could ask the police
one question, I'd be like, do you usually let people
out who are accused of assaulting an officer out in
less than an hour?

Speaker 2 (08:29):
That is strange, I mean in less than an hour.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
And it got he did get arrested at the right
time because he was probably able to be process Like
if he got arrested at two.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
In the morning, it would have taken longer, so it
was probably the right time.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
But yeah, and on the being nice thing, I'm not
excusing anything happening here. I'm saying, when you wake up
to a mug shot and it's Scotty Scheffler, that's what's
shocking to me.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Leave this.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
If you asked me on Monday, in any sport, any
person named the most shocking mug shot, I might say
Scotty chef. Is my point in just how I woke
up and saw that is what made it so where.
I'm not saying he should be. I don't know what
happened exactly. I'm not excusing him. I'm just saying the
shock of seeing him.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
In an orange Here he has another birdy here. This
is uh.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
This would put him on at two under on the round.
This is about eighteen twenty feet here. Let's see missed
a short one earlier. Is he gonna knock this one
in and get the rust off of his orange jumpsuit?
No mis trouble. See, this is all in his head,
money all and he's got a long one coming back from.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Part Who's next, Let's go to Sean. Sean, go ahead, shawk, Hey, guys,
love the show.

Speaker 9 (09:36):
Twenty six years in law enforcement here in Kentucktan. First
of all, Matt, the police don't have any control of
whether the guys are released or not. That's all the judges, that's.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
All the court. So okay, you're right about them forever.
You know. That's probably true.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
And it was probably the case because of the time
he was arrested that the judge was probably doing it
at that moment right in the morning, so that probably
help to but go ahead, and there are reports.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
That Greenberg's gotten involved.

Speaker 9 (10:03):
I don't think Andy's gotten involved, but I think Greenberg
may have been Holy crap, that's it's our city.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
I need to if the mayor.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
There's a world in which I understand that with the mayor,
the governor should not.

Speaker 9 (10:13):
But go ahead, right, And here's the last thing, and
y'all can debate this. Don't think there's a conspiracy if
that officer didn't have his body camera on. And the
reason I say that is when you're on a fixed
post and all you're doing is directing traffic and you're
not expected to truly have interaction with the public, You're
not just gonna let your body cam run for eight

(10:34):
or ten hours while you're directing traffic. So there may
have been a situation where you know, policy across the
state the most departments is when you go to a scene,
you turn your body cam on. When everything calms down
and all you're doing is sitting in the car right
in a report, or you're out directing traffic, you turn
the body cam off to save storage space.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I got your do you let me ask you a question,
and I because I don't know the answer of this.
If A, if there is a may your incident and
a police you're involved in a major incident, not even
that you did anything wrong, but you're just involved in
a major incident and the officer doesn't have his body
came on.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Are they punished for that.

Speaker 9 (11:13):
If it's a violation of policy, if he's following policy,
as in, once you move to the fixed post, policy
allows you to turn it off. As long as that's
the case and you followed policy.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
You're not in trouble.

Speaker 9 (11:25):
If you don't turn your policy and your camera on
because you didn't follow policy, yes, you'll be disciplined. Got
by all right, Well you not scared to do that,
so you guys.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Thank you. That's that's helpful to know. Nice to have
actual information. Sounds like someone knows what they're talking about.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Well, sometimes we don't, and like you know, like Ray,
let's go to Andrew. Andrew, go ahead, Andrew, Hey, Matt,
first time a long time listener.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
What's up.

Speaker 10 (11:59):
I'm calling from Austin, Texas, and I was wondering since
Will Levis is gonna be in Houston and the Cats
are gonna be playing ut and Austin. I was wondering
if all we're gonna come down here for.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Yeah, I think we're playing it on it. We're playing
on me. It's a while away, but that's my plan.
At least I appreciate the call for people who don't
who didn't realize that what he's talking about. UK plays
at Texas the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and the NFL schedule
came out and Will Levis plays at Houston on Sunday. Oh,
a little double dip, so I'm sure Drew.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Will want to do that.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I'm double dipping, but I'm going different direction. I'm going
Cowboys Commanders. I've always wanted to see the Texas stadium.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Oh so your team's gonna be two and a half
hours from us, and you're not gonna go.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
No, I've never been to a Cowboys game. I'm right there.
I've seen the Titans play the Texans. Boston is about
halfway between Houston.

Speaker 5 (12:47):
I've already looked at I got airbnb. This has already
been thought out. A lot of my friends are going
to Houston, but I think I'm gonna go to Dallas.
I have a friend in Dallas. I've been needing to see,
so I'm gonna go that way, but the double hitter
will be awesome whichever direction you go.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Yeah, the one thing about going to Houston, know is
you are going in the wrong direction.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Right. So, who's next, Kentucky Joe, Kentucky Joe, how are
you I'm doing for I need.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
To know Kentucky Joe's thought on all this. Give me
your read on the situation.

Speaker 11 (13:17):
Well, yeah, I thought about a song about all this,
but uh, well no, it's a sad day from state
of Kentucky. I'm gonna say straight up, I think Scott
Scotty cheferd when's when's this tournament?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
PG?

Speaker 11 (13:32):
He ends up winning the Grand Slam, and then it'd
be nice, it'd be a nice gesture by the mayor
to have have a Scotty Cheffer day here in rous.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Okay, well, let's slow down. We need to let's slow
down with the Scottie. Okay, we don't even know for
sure what happened. I don't know that we should be
creating days yet for him. I mean, we don't know
all the facts, right, Joe.

Speaker 11 (13:58):
I I saw his statement. I'm seeing it on.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
Team But I mean I get that, but like that
doesn't mean, it's true just because he said it.

Speaker 11 (14:09):
Hey, Matt, hey man, you gotta you got a great
entertainer on the golf course. His name's John Daily.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Okay, that doesn't really follow the rest of our conversation,
but he did just leave.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
He also he Withdrew by the way he saw he
saw the scene was hot with police.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
It was time to go. I appreciate the call.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
Uh, you know, Drew and I were talking about this.
It kind of overshadows what was a great day yesterday.
Sander broke the score of the course record.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
It was a great Just to it is gonna make
Scotti Scheffler a bigger known name around the world. You know,
stop over painting for sunglasses, billy, if you're tired of
buying expensive sunglasses only to lose a break them. How
about Shady Race. I was driving home from le I
didn't realize how nice that building.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Is off the interstate for Shady Rays.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Yesterday I complimented the Governor's sunglasses because here a shady raise.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
It's all about my mom me, Drew, the Governor, John Day,
Scottie Scheffler, those last two. I'm not sure, but you
go to Shady Rays dot Com. Promo code ks are
two or more pairs in the store, fifty percent off
the second two or more pairs.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
It's great.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Go to the summit at Fritz Farm Shady Rays dot com.
It is Shady Rays the best eye protection of a
Kentucky company. With Shady Rays, We'll take a break, very back, Kosar.
Great job by Shannon on the U on the stuff
the songs today which.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
The podcast listeners will ever get there.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
It is. It's unbelievable. The city of Louisville.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
I just had somebody write me works downtown like City
Louis's getting nothing done today.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
No, all the attentions.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
I mean, this is, this is, this is gonna be
the lead of everything. Oh, you know, I mean honest
with you. In these situations, it's tough because you know,
Craig is my friend and I just feel like I
saw him yesterday and he was like so happy. Can
you imagine him getting that phone call this morning and
being like, well, today is not going to go exactly

(16:13):
the same.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I mean, this is a huge event, and the story
is no longer about the event.

Speaker 7 (16:19):
It was already tragic with the passway and tragic, and
now it's just now.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
It will become a circuit. It will, I mean, think
about his media thing when this round is.

Speaker 6 (16:30):
Over, I'll be there.

Speaker 7 (16:34):
But you, but I did see you just tweeted out
a photo of.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
People already have Shannon free Scottie shirts someone at the course.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
How did they get that done already?

Speaker 3 (16:48):
I guess it doesn't take long to print one up
on a shirt, but.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
But how do you get it at the course?

Speaker 4 (16:52):
And it looks like he's got a bunch and he's
selling them. If that doesn't if that's not America right
where people are like, all right, how can I make
money off this?

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Immediately they were sitting there refreshing, waiting for that mug
shot to drop this morning, to start printing.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
The mugshot. I'm with you, Shannon. I thought it was fake.
I was like, there's no way.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Yeah, they don't have him in an orange jumpsuit. Sure enough,
they did.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
I saw Jeff Darlington's first tweet popped up breaking it
had like five likes. Man, I watched it pop up,
and even I went to his profile three or four
different times, made sure he had all those followers.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
I'm like, this cannot be real. Jeff Darlean is not
even a golf reporter. That's another reason why I was confused,
and neither is Dave Fleming, Like, why are they even here?

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Did you imagine if it just happened to be there though,
oh at that time?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Okay, think about that. Yeah, what if it had been
one of us on that bus?

Speaker 6 (17:42):
Yeah? Are we getting out and filming?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Yeah, my man, I'm not my man in. I'm not
my man in. I mean on that one, like you know,
you know where that is. Yeah, first of all, Shandon
wouldn't have don't look at this, look at this? Yeah,

(18:07):
get them next.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Let's go to Dwayne.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Dwayne, go ahead, Dwayne.

Speaker 10 (18:13):
Okay, man, so to say, yesterday when you all showed
up at the course, they said, we've got a spot
for four players. You all are in, and the rule
is you all don't have to drive. All you gotta
do is putt. We're gonna start you the furthest point
from every hole on the green. Do you break par
or do.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
You for sure? If I all I have to do
is putt.

Speaker 10 (18:36):
I mean you're talking one hundred foot puts probably most,
but I.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Mean, like they're par fives, you don't I mean I
can get it in in five, you know if I
three put every green, three put every green.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
I shoot fifty four. Hello.

Speaker 10 (18:55):
I thought that's interesting I heard somewhere.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, I mean Mike. Now, if if you ask that question,
Ryan Lemon, appreciate the call. No, he wouldn't win. Would
you do you agree he wouldn't finish? He wouldn't. We
saw him from our feet. Yeah, if you put it.
But like if it's me, Billy or Drew, I could
do it putting. You think you could do it, but
you don't really play.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I don't think I'll play put putt though, So I
mean that's the that's about.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
The answering question. If we for you, Ryan is a definite.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
No, I think I could do it.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Me, Billy and Drew could do it even as bad.
But but I don't. I'd be interesting to see you.
I think that would be green.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
I feel like I could do it.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I don't know. Us on here just for you to
walk on every green and put. But if you start
me asking this, let's say we played from the back
the tips, so it's seventy four hundred yards with the
PGA setup.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
What do you think you.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
Chould one ten? One ten.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
That's about what I was gonna say.

Speaker 6 (19:53):
I think I would be it'd be tough to break
a hundred on it.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
I don't think I would break a hundred, just.

Speaker 6 (19:57):
Because even a really good drive sometimes would even get
to you.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Well, I mean, let's say pound it for me and
hit it three hundred. There are still par fours where
I'm over two hundred.

Speaker 5 (20:07):
Yeah, you know, it's not just that there are thirty
three green side bunkers. If I get some of those
tricky ones, even the regular ones and.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
The rough, the roughnes for us is like punch out,
you know. So yeah, no, I mean it'd be tough.
Who's next, Matt, Matt, go ahead, Matt? Hello? Yes, I
mean John rob By the way said if you're a
scratch golfer, scratch golfer and you came here, he didn't
think you could break eighty.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
That's probably about right.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yeah, but go ahead, go ahead, sir, I've said go ahead. Hello, Okay,
I'm hanging up on them.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
Let's move on.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Let's try Zach, Zach, go ahead, Zach, hey man, first time,
long time, good to hear you.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Who are.

Speaker 7 (20:56):
I just wanted to say how excited I am to
see Trenton Travis sued up for the Cats.

Speaker 8 (21:01):
It's always uh, just awesome to see as a local,
born and raised Kentucky boy, to see those Kentucky boys put.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
That Kentucky on the chest.

Speaker 6 (21:09):
But I wanted to say, I've got a new nickname
for him.

Speaker 8 (21:12):
They'll call him t and T, just like Robin Reid,
but Trent Trenton, Travis t and T.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
All Right, there you go. I appreciate the call. I
didn't think we would get that call today with all
that's going on. But it will be exciting to see
two Kentucky guys play.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
It's crazy that our regent's not really known for their region,
not really known for their sports prowess, and we'll have
two Kentucky wildcats.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Who ends up having a better UK career.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
I actually have higher expectations of both of them than
I think a lot of people do. I think Travis
Perry's gonna do well running around off the ball, driving
people crazy, and Pope's gonna find him with a wide
open look that he's gonna make. And I think people
aren't giving Trent No enough credit for his size and
kind of being a three level scorer. I think they're
both gonna be better off. I don't know about putting
one in front of the other. I think it's gonna

(22:00):
be pretty close. But I think I agree with you.
I think it could go either way. I think if
Cal had been the coach, it would have had to
be Travis Perry because I don't think Trent would have
played with with for Cal. But I do think he'll
play for Pope. Not because he couldn't have.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
It's just the style of play Travis take could take
people a little bit better off the dribble.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Maybe they're both very high percented shooters.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yes, Pope's offense, he gets his high percented shooters wide open.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
It's it's a perfect coach for him, I mean, the
perfect coach.

Speaker 7 (22:28):
I don't think either of them are going to play
their way into a top five pick, though, like what
Reed Sheppard did, No, that.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Was no, that's still is amazing.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
I mean when he goes in the top five, that's crazy.
But he was he I mean, he's the most athletic.
He's jump higher than anybody at the combat right, So,
like they don't have that athleticism, which is a big
part of why Reid is projected.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
So I think about was in Mississippi State where he
closed out and blocked that three, and there's an image
where it just looks like he's levitating that stuff. That's
some special stuff that the other guys. I don't think
they have that. One person writes Matt. I heard Drew
say this was a national event. It's an international event.
I have direct reports in India that they know about
the story there because they're following Sahthigala, who's an American Indian.

(23:14):
I thought I said international because everyone on my bus
today was speaking a language that wasn't English or everyone
around me at least.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 4 (23:22):
Well, we will take a break if I'm nine two
eight oh twenty two eighty seven to see is Kentucky
Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
E J.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Smith, personal injury attorney called TJ.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
He'll make them pay.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Now more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
Here's Matt Jones, welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio.
Corn redim dot com. I wonder if you think Scotty,
like right before he got back, was like, I need
to settle my nerves before I do these putts.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
You can't imagine what's going through his mind today.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
That's right, Well, maybe corn redimp dot com. It's Kentucky's
full spectrum flower only himp CBD. The limestone rotbed underneath
Kentucky helps make the best him right here. Those promo
code casts are thirty percent off. Check it out. Help
you rest and relax with cornbread Hemp. I've gotten all
snotty here in the last twenty minutes. I know that's

(24:13):
what you want to know. Maybe it's snatty for Scotti.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Snotty shuffler, that's right. Uh? Who is this guy in second?
Mark Hubbard? Who is that?

Speaker 6 (24:23):
Never heard of him?

Speaker 2 (24:24):
He's just he's just a golfer doing well today.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
He would not have made his tea time shinning. I
can guarantee you that they would not have let him come.
He would not have gotten He'd still be out there
waiting asking if he could turn left to get into
here too.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah he is. He is not gonna get to do it.
Are you gonna? You're gonna watch the golf today?

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Yeah, I'm gonna try to walk around.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
There's a draft kings tend You want to go over
there with me at some point? Sure? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (24:50):
Absolutely. I just wish people would put their cell phones down.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Does that bother you? It does?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
People don't live in the moment, you know what I mean.
They don't live in the moment. They can't just see it.
They want to record it for other people to see.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
And then I can't see because you're holding up your
phone up there.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
You think they should ban it.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Masters before you could take your phone, you couldn't take pictures.
They would like tell you.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
I would do that, Like, I don't think it's realistic
to take your phone like the but I mean for
a different course with the PGA every year.

Speaker 6 (25:20):
I think that should be the rule, is what Drew said.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
That way, I was at the Masters with no phone
for twelve hours when the Cow news dropped. That was
just the weirdest. I mean, in what world are you
with our phone for twelve hours? Ever anymore? It was
in my glove box, Larry. It's just it's just so
weird to be on a golf course and not have
any access to the outside world.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
It was so neat.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
It was so interesting being around Larry in Dallas, because
you talk about a man that has not cared about
care about the outside world events.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Yeah, well, one point it was great.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
We were sitting at at lunch and there were six
of us and at one point five of us were
on our phone and Larry was just sitting there, and
so he pulled out his flip phone and just made
a big deal to act like he wanted to fit in,
even though he can't even get on the internet on
his flip phone.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
He just pulled out his phone and acted like he
was going, how.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
Much you can do on the flip phone nowadays?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Play the little that's all you can do. That's right.
We had our trivia finals last night. By the way,
had Ryan do.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Twenty eight teams? They came in twenty fifth. Tough night, Yeah,
tough night. Our winner was new hasn't won in the
year's past. So the where Wolves of Lewis County took home.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
The name what that's a good name?

Speaker 2 (26:39):
It is county where Wolves of Lewis County was our winner.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
And I think Cocaine Panda came in second was the
name of the team that came in second. So it
was it was good. A lot of good questions. I'll
give you my UK one because everybody always likes to
hear the UK one all give me the eight Kentucky
players that had the most steals in a season in

(27:04):
the Caliperry era. Ashton Hagens is won. Reed Shepherd is
number one. Tyler ewis not on the list. Really he
was ninth, but Fox Fox, Yes, good job. People got
last job, all right? Who else you've gotten?

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Three? That's all Ryan got, by the way.

Speaker 6 (27:26):
Was three time.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
He was hurt. Cason Wallace well locked down. No one
got Cason Wallace and well John wall John wall second.
You all have done very well.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
You've done better than most teams already you have Brandon
Knight's not on there. You have three more you haven't named.
He may have one other guess before I give it
to you.

Speaker 12 (27:55):
No, go ahead, Isaiah briscoaches close actually, Eric bl so
uh shake, Gilges Alexander dang it and Oscar Shebey Oscar Wow.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
I wouldn't thought.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Now here's a stat that'll be the craziest to you
about steals. Reed Shephard averaged the most steals per game
in the Calperia era. Would you like to know who
was second? And he's not on that list?

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah? Who is it? Nerlins?

Speaker 4 (28:22):
If Neurlins didn't get hurt, he would have had the
third most steals. If he had the same progression, the
third most steals in a season in Kentucky history. Wow,
did you know that Neurlins had that sort of a building.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
No, And I'm also surprised Oscar's on that list too.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
Oscar's on it twice. Oscar Oscar had over fifty steels
both years. I can't I can remember that now. It
didn't come to my mind, but after you said it,
I can see plays.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
How about if.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Steals per game in the cow Era read his first,
Neurlins is second.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
I would have guessed all day. I don't think I would.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I wouldn't have got that either. Who's next, Shit, let's
go to Ryan, Ryan, Go ahead, Ryan.

Speaker 13 (29:04):
Yes, the other day you were talking about like where
celebrities and like golfers would stay in certain events in
twenty fourteen with I had a really good friend who
worked for Valhalla's greens Cree, and when Tiger came to town,
they had to go. He stayed at Mark Redmond's house,
So they had to go to Mark Redmond's house and

(29:27):
redo his whole landscaping just because Tiger would come back.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Yeah, Okay, so I I've heard what you're saying, and
I've heard it's kind of true but a little bit exaggerated.
So he did he in this time? Is that is
it Mark or Chris? Is Mark's Redmond Chris's dad.

Speaker 13 (29:47):
Sir, I'm not sure I knew whether Redmond is Zooms.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Chris Redmand Mark.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
I think it's Chris Redmond's house is where he is now.
They did ask if he could bring in his own
bed and his own and some of his own furniture.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Huh, well, I mean he has problems. I can kind
of understand the bed.

Speaker 5 (30:08):
I'm just laughing at that level of money that we're
just gonna pack up my furniture.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
And here was the interesting part to me, and I
appreciate the call, Shandon. Apparently Chris Redman's grill broke, so
Tiger bought him a new grill so that Tiger could
use it this week.

Speaker 6 (30:23):
No, that's nice.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
I would never do that.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
When he got there, the grill broke and he decided
need a new grill, and so he asked if he
could buy another grill, and he would leave it for Chris.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
I think Tiger's grilling out some burgers.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Yeah, we can't go to a restaurant.

Speaker 6 (30:40):
Chef is Tiger's gotta be a meat eater. You can't
have that nickname.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
And that's true, you're a tiger. He can't be like
a bunny.

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Your name's Tiger, you gotta eat meat.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Yeah, I thought you meant people called Tiger the meat eater.

Speaker 9 (30:54):
You know.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
I was like, how have I never heard?

Speaker 6 (30:57):
He's got quite the past. I don't know if the
meat eater fall under there?

Speaker 2 (31:02):
What is wrong with? Who's up next?

Speaker 3 (31:05):
Jameswn Bob?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Go ahead? A five nine twenty two eighty seven. The
Reds are back. They had a big win against the Dodgers.
You're not back, but they did win last night and
their manager is now picked to u for the All
Star Game for the National League. Wait a minute, what
is the fact? Oh okay, I appreciate the call it.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
Wait a minute.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
They had the u of L Sheriff on Fox Business
to talk about this.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
I've told you you got to call in a local
law enforcement. Wait a minute, you mean no?

Speaker 4 (31:37):
No, okay, seriously, we have to talk about this so
people don't know.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
There's a guy on.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Twitter called UFL Sheriff u.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Of L Sheriff, and he's kind of ridiculous. He was
on Fox Business today interviewing about this thing. Do you
think they thought he was the actual sheriff?

Speaker 7 (31:59):
I think that's yeah, why else would they have him
on there.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
They had to have thought he was the sheriff because
of his Twitter handle.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
I mean, he is the sheriff.

Speaker 7 (32:08):
We gotta get some law enforcement involved. A police officer
was just assaulted.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
Couldn't get the stars to get the sheriff.

Speaker 6 (32:15):
Lieutenant wasn't available. The sheriff is though.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Stop.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
I just Mark Kennis tweeted it. I don't think it's photoshopped.
It's something I would photoshop, but I haven't had time.
I mean, they had to have thought he was the
real sheriff.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
I think so.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
We as a sports guy though too right, but.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
He's not golf guy.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Yeah, but maybe he was there. I don't know as
a witness, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Yeah, sheriff, we're gonna have to take a break ahead.
Unbelievable draft king. Well, what do I need? Oh?

Speaker 4 (32:50):
I gotta do another Don frank Don Franklin auto dot com.
If you need a vehicle, go to Don Franklin. They've
got one near you, great selection, great prices. Take the
sheriff with you, maybe he can help you find what
you need. You go right down there. There's seventeen locations
or Don Franklin Auto dot com great service when you
need a vehicle.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
It's Don Franklin. What a day.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
It's not even noon yet, I need breakfast. We'll be
right back. Let's get the work and nothing. Well, I'm mack.
This is seriously one of the weirder days. I can't
believe that the UFL sheriff was on was on Fox Business.

(33:32):
You were telling a story during the break.

Speaker 6 (33:34):
Yeah. So Kentucky Baseball, we haven't got to talking about
them yet.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
They won, So yeah, let's do this real quick.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Okay, rights to the UK Baseball beat Arkansas or beat Arkansas,
beat Vandy. They are now one game away from at
least sharing the SEC title. They play tonight. The weather's
actually doesn't look as bad as it did earlier, so
they need to win one of the next two to win.
If you're going to the game, feel free to come

(34:00):
by the bar before and then tomorrow. What time is
the game? Tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (34:05):
Twelve six thirty tonight twelve tomorrow six thirty to night
twelve tomorrow for the game, Now, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (34:11):
So I was working the game last night as the
producer and Darren Hendrick was on the call with Keith
Madison for the radio. Yeah, for the radio the former
Kentucky baseball coach Keith Madison, and at one point in
the broadcast, Darren goes and Billy Rutluge is back in
the studio doing a good job keeping us on the air,
and Keith Madison he goes, Yeah, I like Billy. I
met him, and let's just say he is a unique individual.

(34:37):
Darren kind of pushed back and he was like, what
do you mean by that, and he goes.

Speaker 6 (34:41):
Oh, I don't know. I just thought he was going
to be much different than what he was when I
met him.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Tom would describe you unique. So you know, Keith listens
to this show a lot.

Speaker 7 (34:53):
I love Keith, He's been on the KSO pre show.
I gave him a hard time in the moment and
I will for the rest of my life for that comment.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
But I did what I don't know. That's that's what
I need you guys to figure out.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
That you're weird. Okay.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
So if he just does the first part where he
says you're a unique individual, then I'd be like Shannon
that says he thinks you're a weirdough okay, But then
he comes with the second part of he's a lot
different than I thought he'd be I'm gonna say he
thought you would be.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
A lot more normal.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
I'm gonna say he thought you might be a little
bit like prickly.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Yeah, and you were normal maybe a little Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
What do you think? I heard it all live?

Speaker 5 (35:36):
I have a texted Billy congratulations on being unique. I
was leaving here last night at like eight o'clock and
I get on the shuttle and the game was going on.
I'm like, I'm gonna throw in my ear button listen
to the baseball and I turned it on the moment
this started, and Billy's right, Darren kind of gave him
a chance to not say unique.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
And I don't think keith was being completely positive. Just
play the word unique for the he did the old
double down. Just a unique guy, and you are a
unique guy. I agree with keithy doubled down.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
But it was I mean, I put my earbuds in
hit play and it was like, Billy religion is.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
In the studio.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
Yeah, So I don't know, do I have a persona
that's not matches what I meet?

Speaker 4 (36:12):
I mean, I know you now, so I can't say that.
But yeah, that's a weird thing to say. That's a
weird thing to say. I agree with Shannon. If you
had just said you're unique, that means weird.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
You're weird.

Speaker 4 (36:24):
He just kept it there, that means weird. But the
fact that he didn't came back and said you're different
than he thought. I think it means you're better than
he thought. It was say on the radio that you're
worse than he thought.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
It's positive. Yeah, all right, who's next, Chris, Chris? Go ahead, Chris?

Speaker 8 (36:42):
Hey.

Speaker 13 (36:42):
I was originally called a political question for you, but
I was gonna say it's hard chorus Tiger Wood his
I've had some of his ex girlfriends calling.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Me, Okay, enough with the comedy. What what's your other question?
I wanted to know man that year has more.

Speaker 13 (37:06):
Leverage in his political career to do something like that
and craft that.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Well. I hope he did.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
I would just say to you it shouldn't matter. I
appreciate the call, and again I have no reason to
think he was involved, but he shouldn't be involved. Craig's
a little different because again Craig's the mayor. So I
think it's understandable if you're the mayor of a city
and a high profile person has been arrested during a
high profile event, to keep him informed and to discuss

(37:39):
how you're going to handle If he was informed, then
he will too, We'll have to talk about how it was.
He's gonna have to talk about how it was handled
either way. But I do not believe the governor of
a state should get involved in local law enforcement. The
attorney general maybe, but but that's just that's just my

(38:03):
take on it. Again, there's still a lot we don't
even know. If he was, I don't. I kind of
would be surprised if he was. I'm sure they probably
called the governor's office and said this is happening, because
you need to know. But I'm a big I am
a big believer that we in this opinion cuts both ways.

(38:26):
You should treat people the same in the lost legal system,
regardless of who they are. Now, sometimes you have to
consider who they are for practicalities, perfect.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Examples of Trump Trumm.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
You do have to consider who he is when you're
talking about various parts of it, Like he shouldn't have
to he should get an escort out of air right,
Like there are things that happen and the if he's convicted,
it should be hand the same way it would otherwise
he also should get all the same rights.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Other defendants give. But in general, the idea of you
got you should.

Speaker 4 (39:08):
Let him out because he has a tea time honestly
offends me to be because that's not what this is
supposed to be in terms of a legal system. But
I just don't I don't totally understand that to me,
even though the police don't make the decision to release,
that's a very good point that caller made. There's an

(39:29):
inconsistency in my opinion, and thinking this is serious enough
to arrest and him being back here at ten o'clock.
One of those two things doesn't make sense to me.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
Either.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
It wasn't serious enough to arrest him, and they realized
it and they turned it around, at which point the
officer that arrested him needs to face scrutiny, if not
in the public, at least privately, or you do have
to ask, did you guys.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Let him out so he could make his and would
you have done that if.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
The other guys who went through the court system this
morning get that same treatment.

Speaker 7 (40:09):
That quickly second degree assault of a police officer and
then you're out and still making it back to the golf.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
Yeah, I mean, look, we may end up finding out
that that charge was ridiculous, but at this moment, they
released a guy accused of asaulted police officer and let
him make his tea time.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
We're watching him on TV. They would not do that
if it was Billy.

Speaker 6 (40:30):
So he got preferential treatment, then.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Maybe maybe or again.

Speaker 4 (40:35):
So there's just a lot of details that we don't know,
which makes it hard on a radio show where we
have to respond.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, we'll know in due time. Who's next, Brent, Brent,
go ahead, Brent, Good morning, gentlemen.

Speaker 14 (40:50):
Just calling and got a couple of things real quick.
You brought up the rechepher to having the highest vertical
red come are on read it? That is like standing vertical.
Each was really short, like six feet nine inches or
seven feet nine whatever.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Yeah, it was what it was. You're right.

Speaker 14 (41:05):
Yeah, But with her claiming the alligator armed and sega
thing is the NBA last night the defending champs getting
beat by what was it, thirty five forty forty five? Yeah,
holy Kale Man cost me a ton on Draft Kings.

Speaker 4 (41:23):
Yeah, well, you know, I mean they were done at
the end of the first quarter. I appreciate the cast,
so I think they just mailed it in and said
we'll win game seven, right, I mean, I don't know
if they will, But the amount was more about the
game was over quick.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
My canes. By the way, what.

Speaker 6 (41:37):
Happened to him?
