thing that you do that makes iteasier to live in Columbus or the thing
that you don't do, you know, to avoid living in Columbus. We'll

Now I understand what little life hacksare, but I'm thinking about how
to get ink out of clothes,you know, like you use hairspray to
get ink out of clothes, thingsthat you've learned through the years, using

baking soda to brush your teeth,and using toothbraiss to clean diamonds. Little
life hacks like that. I justdidn't get what you were going about around
Central Ohio life hacks. So herewas one. If you can handle it
and you know the buck up.There's announcers on the radio. You can
listen to the game but here's anexample of a live hack. So you
guys can have it if you wantto call, and then you can think

about things that are like this duringOSU football season, run all your errands
during game time. It's so niceand empty everywhere. Now, I don't
know if you could do that,if you could do that and listen to
the game, mindy like die hardColumbus nearly all your life girl. But
but that is so true, andpeople have said that for decades. Stores
are everything's empty. Yeah, everything'sempty during that time. Uh huh.

So Columbus Navigator, which I don'tknow if you follow Columbus Navigator on social
media, they're kind of like sixto one to four magazine. They do
their own digital thing. They're theones who actually posted it. So do
you have a Columbus life hack havinglived here since you were four? I'm
going to give you a couple othersyou can think about it. My mind
needs to think. I need timeto think. I'm not the smartest in

the world. Well, and shealso has her mind on the day,
So I wasn't gonna say that you'rein the smartest of the world. Do
you just have your mind on theday and everything today elsewhere. So one
was follow the metro parks on socialmedia for a robust schedule of cool events,
which I never think to do that, right, But if you want

some fun, free events, thesemetro parks have them all the time.
So that was another example. Believeyou've never done that. When my kids
were little, we did that allthe time. Jaund these little quarterly was
it quarterly they were little. Theywere coming out every season. They'd have
things to do in all the metroparks, and we as playgroups because we

had all the moms who stayed homewould get our kids together and they had
all these free, different events,and so we would hit them literally monthly.
I mean, we love them.Doctor Barriott. Mister Barriott in his
gardens was the best. So thatwas like your thing. Oh my gosh,
we took listen, what did yousay in that sentence that you would
have thought, Yeah, this isall about mindy free, thank you very

much. It's free. It's me. So here's another example that might get
you guys thinking, if you goforty miles per hour on Summit or Fourth,
you'll hit every green light from nationwideto Hudson. As you're so yeah,
so I mean, these are thingslike those, like little things that
you've noticed. I'll tell you.I'll tell you when I'm gonna try.

Go ahead, And first, Iremember this was years ago a friend of
mine was getting married, Scotty Fastand yeah, they were getting married,
and Scotty had a lot of hisbuddies up from Miami and they told them,
you know what, just one time, since you're here, get onto
seventy and take it all the wayaround because it's a loop. They couldn't
understand that it was really a loopand all the way. Have you ever
started one spot onto seventy and goneall the way around? Have you ever

done that one time? Did youdo it on purpose or was it an
accident? I think I did iton purpose. I mean, like literally
though, this is this is whatthirteen forty sixty Have we been here sixteen
years? Was two thousand and seven? Sixteen years ago? It was it
was ago you know a life ornow apparently I am. And so yeah,

that's what we did, mindy wedid. I remember I did two
seventy all the way around because Iwanted to know what it was like where
I was. You know. Theother thing I would say is whether you
are a sports fan or not,you have to at least go to one
Ohio State football game. You haveto experience that. You just have to.
It's so different than any other program. I say that just because you

know, I've been a Bucky fanall my life, but it really you
just need to experience that once.You know, my kids haven't gone to
one yet. Well, they're stilla little young. You'll get them there.
Yeah, I'll get them there eventually. Here's a hack that I need
to try. Tommy's Pizza little knownsecret, extra sauce, extra cheese,
nothing else, food of the Gods. Now there's a couple of different locations.

You're talking right on campus. Ithink I think it's the campus one
that's right there off lane right plane. So so I like the two seventy
loop one. Yeah, I likethat. If you're saying that's one people
should try, I would say onein Cincinnati is you have to try Skyline
Chili? Well, I mean,yeah, not just in Cincinnati, but
I believe that's where it started,right Yep. How about this one?

Buy a house with Columbus taxes andsuburban schools. That's one day that's talked
about all the time when you movehere. What about getting do you notice
this a lot or do you noticeit when you travel out of state or
more in state? Get a personalizedlicense plate? Do you see personalized license
plates at all? And if you'vegot one, Makayla, what would yours

say? Well, I used tohave one, you did, yeah,
before I came to Ohio. Justsay, Mikayla, No, it was
news for you, which is funnybecause we worked, both of us worked
a Channel four and that used tobe NBC four for you. Isn't it

before that, when I was inIllinois, I had News for you on
the back of my Pontiac grand Am, you're taking a lot of people don't
like the media. I could havegot like ram done and and everything.
I mean, it was two thousandand one, so I think it was
probably different, a little different then. But what would I do now?
I don't know. I don't know, Mom of three Boys, because because

i've too, Yeah, what wouldyours be? You don't You don't have
a personalized one either, probably crazychick, fun chick or loud chick,
something like that. Do you knowthat speaking of crazy chick, fun chick,

Case one? You had a personalizedlicense plate in high school HDC as one
Diva? Well, I was anickname one of my guy friends gave me
because I had a lot of energy. Imagine Christian and Logan kind of combined
in high school. Wait wait,wait back to me. What was the
license plate again? I said,you said crazy chick, and I actually

had head Case one like a headcase But did you make that up because
of what the plate said or didyou really get it? I mean no,
I Illinois didn't cost any extra money. I don't know if it does
here in Ohio or how much ofthe diva so I wasn't No, Yeah,
I bet it was. It wasalso on a blue nineteen eighty six
Dodge Omney that there's nothing diva aboutthat. We got My parents got that

car for like what two thousand dollarshatchback. Kimmy has CAMMI twenty seven because
her soft pall number is twenty seven. Yeah, and what she's driving is
a beater. I mean literally theroof is held together with Staples, and
Boots went with me because he pickedthe car out for her. He went
with me to the license bureau.He said, I'm getting her personalized plates.

I thought it was the best thingever. I thought that, Boots,
that's really nice of you. Andthen when we gave me to Cammy,
she's like, I really have todrive my car. It's like a
Beater with personalized plates and who knowwho you are exactly? There you go.
But she's like, I know it'sfun, but it is because you
really do think of personalized plates,unlike Corvettes, Porsches, stuff like that.

Not a little begger that it's acampus car. My high school self
really appreciates her Beater campus car.So there you go. Sure a lot
of people listening appreciate that, becauseyou don't want anything nice on any campus.
