A high-energy country trio, the Cadillac Three are essentially the earlier band American Bang minus one member. A Southern rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee, American Bang were formed in 2005 by lead guitarist Ben Brown, drummer Neil Mason, singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jaren Johnston, and bassist Kelby Ray. Originally called Bang Bang Bang, the group released an album, I Shot the King, under that name in 2005, but switched to the name American Bang when they signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2006, releasing an EP, Move to the Music, in 2007, and a self-titled full-length in 2010 with Reprise Records, after which Brown departed and the remaining trio changed its name to the Cadillac Three, signing with Big Machine Records, which issued the self-titled full-length album The Cadillac Three in the spring of 2013. ~ Steve LeggettPortions of Content Provided by Rovi Corporation.
