The latest album from The Cadillac Three entitled 'Country Fuzz' dropped on Feb. 7th.

With a hairy title, fans weren't sure what to expect, but members Jaren Johnston, Neil Mason, and Kelby Ray joined CMT's Cody Alan in the studio to dish the details.

"It's something that we kind of coined and have been saying for years," says Jared. "We were in London one night, and this British guy goes, "Oh, it's like "Sabbath on cornbread," yeah?" (Side note, Jared's British accent is pretty remarkable.)

Although the bandmates were immediately drawn into the idea of 'Sabbath on cornbread,' it was clear that there would be Copywrite infringement. So, they pivoted with their own take.

"That's brilliant, but you can't own that. Its another band's name," Jared continued. "So, we came up with 'Country Fuzz,' because being born and raised in Nashville, it's country songwriting at heart, but you get the end of a chorus, and you hear that cool tweak on a lyric."

That's how Cody Alan got clarity on the true meaning behind 'Country Fuzz.' Listen to The Cadillac Three play on CMT Radio by finding your station at www.CMTCody.com. Also, stream their music everywhere that streaming is available.
