Feeling good is Friday.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Energy is good. We're feeling positive, you know.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
That's what I'm talking about. Friday.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
Friday. Friday is my favorite day of the week officially.

Speaker 6 (00:42):
Is that so?

Speaker 5 (00:42):
Yeah? I mean I like Saturdays too.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I still like coming to work, but I like coming
to work knowing I don't got to come to work
the next day. About Sundays, Sundays are cool, it starts
to get a little sad, like when you think about
the weekend flew by and you're like, man, it's already
time to go back to we.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
You know, before I started I'm going up here every
day was like Fridays.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
What a life?

Speaker 1 (01:04):
You all right?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
But we do have Radella Ortiz joining us today. You
know him as a comedian. A lot of people follow
him on social media. He hangs out with Cardi B
with John like with Zamo with Bad Bunny, but he
just started doing stand up. He was doing a lot
of sketches on social media. Now he's doing stand up.
So yeah, all right, well let's get ready for shining light.
That's how we always start the day off. Eight hundred

(01:26):

who you want to spress some love to.

are doing greatness.

to shine a light on them.

You know she is actually going to be putting out
a full length album in August, really yes, and so
I love that. And she had put out a single
called Woman, featuring a lot of other artists. It was
sought from some Pepper, Big Daddy Kane, Raheem DeVaughn. A
lot of people love that and the lyrics and the
empowering lyrics on that. So now she's going to be
putting out a full feature out.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Okay, I'm here for that. I want to check that out.
So is the single out now?

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
The singles already out women, So now we can get
ready for our full length album.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
She also has never stopped working.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
By the way, she has a lot of stuff film.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, a lot of stuff in film, a lot of
voiceover work, a lot of everything. And so I just
love that that she was able to go from what
she's doing and still keep doing. What she's doing as
a hip hop artist is being a pioneer.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
And then now.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
You know, shot tales with her, the TV thing, Oh
you did tells? Yeah, we did a scene she was
a cop and I was a criminal.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Okay, all right, well we love to see that. Shout
out to you, MC light Now, who do you wait?
You are a criminal?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Only in the movie, just in case you was thinking
something else.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Okay, only on all right?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Well, who do you guys want to shine a light on?
Eight hundred two ninety fifty one fifty rob Who do
you want to shine.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
A light on?

Speaker 8 (03:10):
I just want to shine a light on. My god daughter,
Kayla and all her friends were graduating school this year.

Speaker 9 (03:15):
You up. Last week it was dope.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
That's all right, Cayla your god daughter, so you're an
active god parent.

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Yes, I just.

Speaker 8 (03:23):
Stopped there off just being and my and my god.
But I just dropped him off this school too.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Man, you're a good guy. I suck at being a godparent.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
You know what mean too? Worst my goddaughter spending the
whole summer with me.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
So you're making up for lost time.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
You know I'm horrible at that.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
You're making us all. I want to be better, rob
shout out to you.

Speaker 8 (03:44):
Light light on you, bro, Thanks man, appreciate many.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
All right, you too, and we love you, Kayla, and
to all your friends for graduating.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Thanks for calling Robby.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
All right, but that was shine a light. And when
we come back, we have your and let's discuss the story. Yesterday,
there's an update with Kel Mitchell and his ex wife,
Taysha Hampton. She he said she got pregnant multiple times. Well,
now the daughter is coming forward and saying, speak the truth.
But we'll tell you what truth that is. It's way up,
they says in the rooms.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
From industry shade to all.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
The gossip out send Angela's spiling that eet.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
It's way up. I'm angela ye mano's here.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yep, we're getting ready for our vitamin drips for today
on a Friday, and I need it.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
All right, Well, let's get into this et.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
This cal Mitchell versus his ex wife Teyosha Hampton's story
is not going away anytime soon.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Now.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
This all started when cal Mitchell was on Club Shay Shay, Mayna.
You need to go on there one day and tell
the story too.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
We need to do you want to hear.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
But anyway, here's what he said.

Speaker 10 (04:51):
Originally, she ended up telling me that the baby that
was aboard it wasn't monk. It was a lot you know,
it was other times she had gotten pregnant, others things,
And he just got to a point, you.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Had gotten pregnant again?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Why y'all together?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:06):
And you stuck.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Around, Yeah, I stuck around like a whole slave.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Stop it anyway.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
And then Taysha Hampton, who is Calmetr's ex wife he
was referencing, responded on social media.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Kim, who is this person that was pregnant? Because what's
not me?

Speaker 11 (05:28):
And then another thing is like, how do you remember
all these pregnancies but you don't remember your kids?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Speaking of kids, because they do have a kid together.
A lawyer is her name, and she went on social
media and said, Dad, I honestly don't understand why you
keep putting this out here when I've told you how
men I have been. How when I told you how
men I have been contacting me calling me a slut
because of my mother. I am your daughter as a woman,
I'm so disappointed in you. I choose a bear over
a man. And then she also said, my stepdad didn't

(05:56):
change our names to hide us away from you.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
We've talked about this, and you know why.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
It was because my mom never wanted my little siblings
to feel different than us. I beg to take my
stepdad's last name. He made it a cute ceremonial thing
because it was him accepting me as his daughter. You
got my brother and I tested to see if we
were yours, while the dad who step took over the role.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
You let go.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Please speak the truth, oh man. And she went on
to say a lot more. And by the way, cal
has already responded and just went on social media and posted,
dear everyone, I am deeply moved by the outpouring of love,
personal stories and breakthroughs you've shared after my Club Shay
Shay interview. Your support means the world to me. I
will continue to pray for you, and please pray for me.

(06:37):
The very experiences that you have resented, our regretted most
in life, the ones you wanted to hide and forget,
are the experiences God wants to use to help others.
They are your ministry. He quoted Rick Warren and then
he went on to thank his amazing wife for your wife.
He is a new wife. For your unwavering encouragement and
the way you empower me every day.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
I love you deeply.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I think people just waiting to get on these shows
and have something to say that nobody else knew about.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
They want to expose something that nobody knew about.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Ever, And to be fair, cal Mitchell's daughter has previously
spoken on him and said back in twenty twenty two,
he's the type of man to fake as if he's
in my life, but he's not. And she did say
he was there financially, but you know, she said her
father should just care. She lives completely independently and without
any of his help. Ah, the messiness, you know, the

(07:31):
messiness when you look around everybody has something to say.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
You want to do some positivity.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
I'm into that, all right.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Coiler Ray has partnered with foot Locker for a Start
with Sneakers Adida's campaign, so shout out to her for that.
She is the brand ambassador, and she said collaborating with
foot Locker for the Start with Sneakers campaign has been
an exciting way to begin my relationship with this iconic brand.
So if you want to see what the start with
Sneakers campaign looks like, you can go online.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Here you go, Maino.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I don't think the positivity is grabbing me like the
negativity it was.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
You're not into it.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
It's like the negativity was a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
All right, Well, you know what the next ut we'll
talk about drugs, drug mules.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Now we're talking yes and sneaking.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Into studios, all right. But in the meantime, we have
about last night when we come back. Eight hundred two
ninety fifty is a number. I know your night was
exciting and we cannot wait to hear about it. It's so
exciting that we actually have to get to a drip
today so you can recover.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
All right.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
In the meantime, here's some Beyonce and jay Z with
deja vus walla night.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
All right, it's way up on Angela. Ye mainos here,
good morning last night. I know you were working in
the studio.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
In the studio trying to get this Lobby Boys thing
fully mixed and mastered.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
I know that's right, all right. Well, I have been
dealing with housetuff. That's all I do. Is so repetitive
for me every day. But I have the bar area
set of someone start bringing my liquor over there. But
then I started asking myself does liquor expire? And then
we had a whole conversation about it behind the scenes,
because I'm like, should I get rid of some of
these items? I know they say that wine and champagne

(09:12):
doesn't last forever. So I did a deep dive to
kind of figure out what the shelf life of a
bottle of alcohol is. You want to know the answers,
all right, it's different. Unopen liquor of all kinds will
generally keep indefinitely if stored properly. That means out of
direct sunlight, tightly sealed in a stable room temperature environment.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Once you open it.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Distilled spirits like whiskey and gin won't expire or become unsafe,
but they may start to taste a little bit off
after one of three years. So once you open it
after a couple of years, it can be like this
is a little weird liqueur. Once you open a liquor,
it will last six months to a year, and then
wine based spirits should be refrigerated and consumed within six
to eight weeks. So those are just some tips for you.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
Right, So it's good. So you still got bottles from
high school?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Right?

Speaker 4 (10:00):
I do not college? Definitely college.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
I definitely wasn't.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Judging stop it, and I would have finished it all
in college. All right, Well that is about last night.
When we come back, we have tell us a secret.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
I'm gonna move, good.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
See you want to move for a good secret?

Speaker 2 (10:16):
All right, we'll call us up. Mayno's in a good
and a move for a good secret. He's not gonna
judge you absolutely all right, and you get to remain anonymous.
That's one eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Call us up.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Tell us a secret.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 5 (10:31):
What's up this way up. But Angela, yee, I'm Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Manos here we are getting our vitamin drips right now.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
So what is this?

Speaker 2 (10:38):
This is three sixty three sixty five I V drips?

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Which one did you get?

Speaker 4 (10:45):
I got the superhero package.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
Okay, we'll see if that works.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Well, let's get these secrets going while we're sitting here
getting vitamins pumped into us.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Hello anonymous,
call it tell us a secret.

Speaker 9 (10:57):
So high school see a harp place called Baseball College,
and I left with his best friend's brother at a
different college.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Who sounds like.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Your boyfriend's best friend's brother.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Yeah, how did that even happen? Did you know his
best friend's brother already in advance?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (11:18):
And no, I didn't know that was his brother, but
I knew of him. Okay, it happened over a bottle
of tequila. But then we just kept it going.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Are you still talking to your boyfriend or no?

Speaker 8 (11:30):
I still talk to my high school sweetheart, but I'm
also sleeping.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
With the brother right now.

Speaker 8 (11:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Nice?

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Who do you like better?

Speaker 2 (11:37):
If you had a choice, Like, let's say it's Friday night,
who would you spend Friday night with both of them?

Speaker 8 (11:42):
I would say the brother, because I mean I kept
the high school sweetheart for the memories we had. But
we're bothing for people.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
He would be devastated if he found out, though, Yeah,
all right, well he won't. All right, thank you for calling?
What's up? An atamous color? How are you?

Speaker 8 (11:57):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
I'm good MANA here a good secret, so come on
come wait it.

Speaker 8 (12:02):
Well, I got a crazy secret. When I was young.
I used to sew bug right, so right, it was.

Speaker 12 (12:07):
Ready, okay, fourth, I took four os out of each
one right.

Speaker 8 (12:14):
And I filled them with three beats from BB gun right.
He put it on the scale. Everything is right right,
But I got a free plate out of it, and
you know he lost out.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
So nobody came looking for you.

Speaker 8 (12:27):
Nah, I was about sixteen. I'm forty now.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
I think they're still looking for you.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
They probably like, remember when he saw us in.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Bbs B that's put BB's in there, Like whoever thought that.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Is not like Reggie's that expensive, then BB's is probably
more expensive.

Speaker 8 (12:42):
Stand the whole sixteen. You think you're getting a whole sixteen,
don't you put it on the sixteen, so you was.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Stretching it yet how to be knowing all this drug talk?
How long can you sustain this like before people catch on?

Speaker 8 (12:55):
No, No, I've been stopped this.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
So this was something you did multiple to No.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
It was my minute to yo, this is somebody that
we can catch. And I was like, okay, okay, I
made the even seen my feet.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Right, it was one and done. Okay, I got you.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Now we could just go to a dispensary. Times have changed, okay,
all right, well thank you? All right, Well that was
tell us a secret. Eight hundred and two nineteen fifty
one fifty is a number in case you couldn't get through.
Of course, we'll still take your secrets on the voicemail,
and when we come back, we have your yee t.
And let's talk about since we're doing drugs right now.
While not doing drugs, talking about drugs, let's talk about

(13:32):
Diddy's alleged drug mule.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
Will tell you about his sentencing. Oh it's way.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Up, yo, she's about to blow the lid of off
this pot. Let's get it.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
Oh angelus feeling that yeete, come and get the tea.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I'm angela ye manos here, no man, good morning. We
just got our grips from three sixty ive Egypt. I
feel good.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Three sixty five. I had that be twelve superhero package.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
All right, well, let's get into this yet. William the Baddest.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
If you don't know who he is, he is a
reality TV star and he was on Tosha k Show
talking about a relationship that he allegedly had with Sojia Boy.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
I loved it.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
He's very like into like the racist blank stuff.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
I don't know if this was really him or it
was like drunk him or like, no, I'm nervous.

Speaker 6 (14:20):
I'm like, is he gonna hurt me? Is he making music?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Is he making music?

Speaker 5 (14:27):
All right?

Speaker 4 (14:28):
Sound gaps gap now you know?

Speaker 2 (14:31):
He then he shared some quote unquote receipts. But I'm
telling you this because so Boy did respond and not
the way we expected.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
So the Soldier boy voice, Man, what what going crazy?

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Crazy? I was I was looking for that.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
His response is pretty calm. Listen to this.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Are y'all serious right now? Or are y'all trolling? Oh
y'all dad ass okay on my life.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
That dude is lying.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Gosh, write me down.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
I never heard that soldier boy voice.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
He was pretty calm, just explaining and talking about it.
But you know what it is, no matter what you do,
people gonna think you lying. If you calm, you lie,
If you hype, you lie.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
If you do damn if you don't.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Yeah, so he just had to. I guess, be like
all right now.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Diddy's alleged drug mule, Brendan Paul, accepted a plea deal
offered by prosecutors that will allow him to avoid prison time.
GMZ spoke to his attorney, Brian Bieber on yesterday and
he confirmed that he accepted that plea deal. He has
to enter a drug rehab program and upon successful completion,
he'll have the case against him dismissed without any charges.

(15:40):
They expect that he'll complete this program within six months,
so you know, there you have it. I mean, they
filed a cocaine possession charge against him, and he wasn't
at the hearing, but his attorney did enter a not
guilty plea on his behalf all right.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
And Cardi B said that she is not going to
put out an album this year.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Well Atlantic record is saying Cardi B's upcoming album is
one of the most anticipated this year. We can't wait
to put it out, even if we have to sneak
into her studio and take it.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
See, they hang on for that.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
They want that.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
You did say that they want that out. That's not
any interest to keep putting it off.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yeah, And she had said that she was working to
complete the albums. She even had did the cover story
for Rolling Stone. It probably was done before she said
she's just relaxing. And she did say though she was
still missing a title, key features, and a handful of tracks.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
What may No, No, I'm just saying this is how
you start war with your label.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Yeah, like I'm gonna wait till next year, because she
kept saying it was coming out this year.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
You don't want to wait. They want to go. It's
been what how many years? Six seven years? Yeah, Yeah,
they don't want to wait. They want to put it out.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
People are ready.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
All right, Well that is your et when we come back,
we have your under the radar. These are the stories
that are not necessarily in the headlines.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
They are flying under the radar.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
One of them, in particular, our producer Dan is Soon Cooper,
excited about the House has passed the Ticket Act, and
that would increase transparency in pricing when it comes to events.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
We'll talk about it more. It's way up the news news.

Speaker 7 (17:11):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
It's way yeah. I'm angela. Yee manos here, no man,
there we go. You ready for that under the radar,
I'm ready all right, The House has passed the Ticket Act.
You know how when you go to buy a ticket
to a concert or a show, and you think it's
going to be one price, and then after they add
all the fees. You like, house, this double the cost
of what I thought it was going to be. It's
similar to how when you buy a flight it has

(17:37):
all the prices, include all the fees included. Well, now
that would be what that is. It would have to
have transparency and pricing. Sellers would have to list the
total cost of a ticket to buyers and.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Seat feed, popcorn fee, soda feed, right, force feed.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Paper fee you like goodness, I thought this was twenty dollars.
It ended up being eighty dollars to get this ticket,
all right, So hopefully that'll end up as something that
we can have as a law. Now all right, Now,
this was so interesting to me, and this definitely went
viral and definitely not under the radar. But there was
a House committee meeting and things got very rough during

(18:15):
that meeting, Yes, very heated. Marjorie tail A Green responded
to a question from Representative Jasmine Crockett. And here is
what Marjorie tail A Green had to say that was
very disrespectful to Jasmine Crockett.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
I don't like you know what you're here for.

Speaker 11 (18:31):
Well, you don't want to talking about.

Speaker 13 (18:34):
Up?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Okay, now hold on, now you done took the gloves off,
so now I can say whatever it is that I
want to say. Because for some reason that that was okay,
that was not something that got checked right during this
committee meeting. And so here is how Jasmine Crockett responded.

Speaker 11 (18:53):
I'm just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If
someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleach blonde,
bad built, butsch body that would not be engaging in personalities? Correct?

Speaker 1 (19:06):
What now? What?

Speaker 4 (19:08):
What?

Speaker 9 (19:09):
What?

Speaker 8 (19:09):
Now?

Speaker 6 (19:10):
She was good?

Speaker 3 (19:11):
That was that was dynamic, She's up real like she
is a technician with those bees, the way she laid
it all out.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
But I can understand her frustration because they wanted to
get her words stricken from the record. Marjorie Tell agrees
and forced her to apologize, and they decided that did
not violate house rules. Well, if that doesn't violate house rules,
then this shouldn't violate house rules either, So that's absolutely correct.
All right, Well that is your under the radar. You know,
we got the Way Up mixed at the top of

(19:38):
the hour on a Friday. You know, we like to party, party, party,
not just on Fridays but every day, but Fridays is
like extra.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
Also, Radella Ortiz is going to be.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Joining us a comedian and you've seen him doing all
of his sketches online and since April he started doing
stand up in actual comedy clubs. He's open for Bad Bunny,
He's been hanging out with Cardi b. He went to
Coach's birthday part already. He's weighed on the Kendrick Lamar
and Drake Beef and he even was featured on a
Kenjack Lamar song.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
How about that it's way up.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Oh yeah, she's like.

Speaker 11 (20:09):
The chalk like they Angeli Jean, like they Angeli Jee Man.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
She's spilling it all. This is yeaty way up.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
It's way up on Angela yee, my guy menos here
no manaya tea time. And here's something that just broke.
Drea and Jalen Green had their baby. So congratulations, congratulations,
she posted in twenty twenty one on Mother's Day, and
my dad passed away. Since then, it's been extremely hard
to celebrate that day without remembering the earth shattering phone

(20:39):
call I reserved that received that morning. Well, this Mother's
Day was different. My daughter was safely brought into this world,
and I'm forever grateful for the new memories we all
get to experience.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Moving forward, Love and light.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Everyone congress to her.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Always happy when somebody has a healthy delivery. All right,
and let's get into some more good news. Raven Simone
has inked multi year overall deal with Disney following the
cancelation of Raven's Home, so that show won't be returning,
but she did post about their new deal. She said,
thank you to Disney Branded TV for believing in me

(21:12):
all these years and for years to come. Let's get
it pop. In other good news, a new Insidious film
has been confirmed. I am, I am, I've watched all
of it, so you know the new entry in the
franchise has been set for theaters.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
It's a Blumhouse production. I watch. I feel like a
lot of Blumhouse production.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
Yeah, I'm I'm familiar with him.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
So there's no further details on the project, but the
newly announced feature is different from The Red and Incitious Tail,
which is a series spinoff that was first reported by Deadline.
So I'll definitely be watching that. I feel like I
watched The Red Door. I saw that one on the
plane the first time is when I first saw it,
all right, and Grand Theft Auto six that's a Fall

(21:53):
twenty twenty five release, so I know people will be
excited for that one. And Sweety, she has a lot
of things going on right now.

Speaker 5 (22:02):
She just did an interview.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
With Bobby, remember Bobby All Talk, and a lot of
people were kind of like not really feeling her for
a minute. Well, Sweety seems like she had a good
time talking to Bobby. And here is what she had
to say, because you know, Sweety is known for her
food and her love of food, and they were doing
some type of lobster boil.

Speaker 11 (22:19):
Trump kind of scares me, why because isn't there like
poop on it or something.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
Or you just got to take it out, put a
little bit of sauce on it. You'll be Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
I wanted you to be like, no, there's long I'm
gonna lie to you.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Yeah, is that true?

Speaker 4 (22:33):
What's true? I don't know what he was talking about.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
It is it is shrimp has shrimp, it has poop
on it.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Oh well, I'm glad I don't need seafood. That definitely
didn't encourage me to want to do that. Sweety also
has a newly released freestyle and here is some of that.
Because this has gone kind of aral too.

Speaker 5 (22:56):
Say, they're trying to figure out.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Who study out inside? Is that the new song?

Speaker 2 (23:02):
It's a freestyle, it's a free style. She was in
a car, so you know she was in a car playing.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
This and she dropped the song too.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
Yeah, we get into that in new music.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Okay, new music is actually coming up next when we
come back, right, all right. And in other good news
for Kanye Wess, he settled his lawsuit with Donna Summer's
estate over the good Don't Die sample dispute. Remember that
song was up and then it was down. Well, it
looks like they've worked things out. So the state the
estate sued Kanye because that song features I Feel Love
from Donna Summer. They say that they rejected that and

(23:33):
they tried and then YI try to circumvent that decision
by using an interpolation instead of a sample. And so
now they've come to some type of some.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
Type of settlements.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
All right, well that is your Yet when we come back,
it is a new music Friday, like Mano was just
telling you, and so we're going to have the new
music for you guys to be paying attention to today
this weekend and moving forward is way up, but.

Speaker 7 (23:55):
It's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
You should know. This is aske what's up?

Speaker 5 (24:02):
His way up? But Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I'm Angela Yee with my award winning at nice Giving friends. No,
Mano's here, Yeah, and any question you have, we're here
to help you out.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
We even take your voicemails, and we have Ashley's voicemail today.
Here's what her question is from Dallas.

Speaker 9 (24:21):
I've been in a relationship with my fiance for ten years.
You've been engage truly here, but we stopped having six,
five years ago, and I just want to know how
I still be on top of it. I recently hated

(24:42):
with the hits.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
All right, so ten years together, five years of no sex?

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Wow, and we knew she was already cheating because she
have sex. And five years you have got to be
having sex with somebody.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
You know.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
It's interesting because people will tell you sex is not
everything in a relationship.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
But it's something.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
It's like I would say this, there's people who if
you feel like your relationship is fine, and clearly she doesn't,
right absolutely, yeah, clearly she doesn't and she's stepping out,
But why aren't they having sex? It feels like that's
the issue.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Like each other no more, it's just they just partners.
They became like I've seen that happen, like the roommates,
like roommates.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
You know, they got kids, and maybe they got some
business together, like they got a house together.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Like it's just at that point, it's just really a
transactional friendship, business relationship, and they all sleeping with different people.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
I don't know what is going on with other aspects
of their relationship, right, Is this the one thing that
they don't gel on or.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
Is it just that you've slipped into this whole.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
This is like my friend. You know, sometimes couples end
up being like this is like my brother.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
It's my man. At the same time she let somebody
else knock her down.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Yeah, I've definitely been in a relationship where I started
to feel like this.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Is really just my friend, Like this he's cool.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Like the end of that.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
Oh, they just end up being cool with you.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
No, they usually you know, you know, man, I'm with
my husband, but I don't feel my love and I
just want to come over here with you and hang
out with you.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
For whatever you told me earlier, you don't mess.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
I got to do my duty.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
At the same time, ye, we don't mess with married women.
Did I say that you be contradicting yourself.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
I don't know if I said that.

Speaker 6 (26:18):
Did I say that.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
It's just a number of things that could be going on,
because I also question, like, is he having personal issues himself? Depression,
has dysfunction. We don't know if that's necessarily.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
What it is.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
I don't think is that because the way she described
it, it was just like, you know, we've been together this long,
we not having sex no more, but you know, it's
just like we fell out of that lust with.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Each other, and a lot of times the biggest problem
is the deception, right, if you're cheating. You know, sometimes
you can come to the table and be like, look,
we're not doing this, we're not doing that. We can
stay together because we've seen famous couples do that. And
you do your thing, and I tell my thing. The
thing that really hurts people is when you deceive them, right,
and you're dishonest, and then they find out things later
and then how can I ever trust you in?

Speaker 10 (27:02):
Now?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
The whole thing is broken, and so it's time to
come together, sit at the table, figure out how are
you guys going to move forward if you still care
about each other and still love each other. Do we separate?
Do we stay together? Do our own thing? Do we
try to work through it? Let's figure it out and
that's what you need to do.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
My advice for her and him is to bring this
side pieces to the table. God right and.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Your fantasy world.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
No, no, no, it's a lot of fantasy. Just have
one big you know, sit down and talk about it.
And you know, she says, listen, I'm your wife, I'm
gonna stay your wife, but this is my boyfriend.

Speaker 5 (27:32):
What are you will Smith and Jada? All right?

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Well, anyway, that was asking you eight hundred and two
ninety two next fifty in case you couldn't get through.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
And when we come back, rodel Ortiz is joining us. Comedian.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
You've seen all of his sketches. Now he's doing for real,
for real stand up. He has a short film out
right now and we're gonna have some fun with him
on a Friday.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
It's way up about to do this, Yeah, y'all more.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Way up with Angela on now you know what it is.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Up as way up for the Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee.
Maino is here with me and dear Tis is here yo.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
While his name is Maino.

Speaker 6 (28:10):
Today Maino, I love. I love that.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Your story is amazing to me just seeing what your
come up has been.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Seeing that Kenja Lamar actually sampled.

Speaker 14 (28:21):
You, I can't even believe that, Bro, you're saying that
just now. It just reminded me that I can't believe that.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
By steppers, Yeah, checkterfied so many.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
I killed the confidence, the media, yours the new religion.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
You killed the consciousness.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
So tell me where you were when you found that out?

Speaker 14 (28:36):
I was sleep my phone started blowing up like seven
different people. I'm like, who died, bro? And I wake
up and they're like, yo, Kendrick got you on his song.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
I saw. I was like in the twilight.

Speaker 14 (28:48):
Power of the Internet, though, yeah, I have to clear
it or nothing afterwards, We yeah, I got you.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
Don't even worry about you.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
To that skit about And this is so true because
I totally agree. When you had a cookout and there's
no cheese, Hey, yo.

Speaker 6 (29:06):
What the there's no cheese?

Speaker 13 (29:09):
I'm tired of coming to barbecues this man, burgers hopped
up pecklers, everything did no cheese for.

Speaker 6 (29:15):
The burgers that summer.

Speaker 14 (29:17):
I kept going to barbecues and cookouts and I kept
noticing the pattern. They would bring every condiment, everything, but
there would be no cheese. So I was like, I
gotta make a skit about this. And that's what came
out of it. That Ao, I know that came out
of it all right.

Speaker 6 (29:32):
That wasn't planning or nothing, right.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
Dellar or Chease is here with me and Mano.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
But a lot of these skits that you were doing there,
they've been going viral. Now. I want to ask you
what was the first, like big one that you did
when you did. Were on Instagram just doing this. Your
family's involved. Everybody loves to see them.

Speaker 6 (29:48):
I did a video where Cardi B reposted it.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
Oh I love that CARDIB really showing up.

Speaker 6 (29:54):
Oh my, But y'all got to understand.

Speaker 14 (29:55):
I was working at Dick's Sporting Goods and I hated
my job and I'll never forget.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
I was at Popey's with my girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
You don't love.

Speaker 6 (30:04):
I loved that little I'm talking about export goods. I'm
selling hockey masses.

Speaker 8 (30:12):
Yo.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
So I was literally about to get.

Speaker 14 (30:15):
Ready for work, and then my sister called me. Yo,
Cardi B reposted your video this is twenty eighteen bowtack
yellow Cardi B.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
Bro.

Speaker 14 (30:23):
I called my job. I said, Yo, I can't make
it to work today just because that bro ten minutes past.
I don't know what happened over there in Cardi B's camp.
She deleted that video.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
Oh what no, what was the video?

Speaker 6 (30:38):
It was a video I made with my moms and
I will never forget.

Speaker 11 (30:41):
Bro.

Speaker 14 (30:41):
I had to call my job back, like, yo, you
know I'm on my way.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
That celebration I canceled quick.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
Yeah did you ever ever ask?

Speaker 6 (30:50):
You know? It's crazy to this day, Like, I still
haven't asked her about that.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (30:56):
It's all good. She's reposting me.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Culture's birthday party.

Speaker 14 (31:03):
And that's the first time I went to like a party,
like like, they have money for real.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
They had Alaskan King Crabs, they have mermaid. You from uptown? Nah,
I'm born and raised Brooklyn. Oh yeah, Brooklyn, East New York.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
See how you assume that everybody always think that all
the times?

Speaker 6 (31:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (31:24):
For me, Yeah, Washington Heights, b I never been over
there exactly.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
An hour the Bronx. I'm like bro.

Speaker 14 (31:40):
I was raised in Brooklyn, just making and the Trinidaddy
iss bro crazy.

Speaker 6 (31:46):
And then we moved to Queens.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
All right.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
We have comedian and you know him from his sketch
comedy radell Or Teases here.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
We got more with him, and you know when we
come back, it's way up.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Way up with Angela more.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Its way up with Angela. Ye on a Friday, let's
have some fun. We're all from Brooklyn. It's me, It's me.
It's what were you like as a kid?

Speaker 6 (32:10):
I was? I was ugliest.

Speaker 10 (32:16):
I was.

Speaker 14 (32:16):
I used to get in trouble all the time. I
used to cut school all the time. I love cutting school.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
What did you do to see what Steve Wilkos was
talking about?

Speaker 14 (32:29):
I hated school. I used to cut all the time.
I used to get in trouble too all the time.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
But and look at how you turned out.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
For all the parents that are listening to know them
might have had a badass kid. You know, sometimes you
have to figure out a way to kind of play
into that creativity.

Speaker 5 (32:43):
What did you think you were going to be when
you were a kid.

Speaker 6 (32:46):
I honestly thought I was gonna be like a fire
like cab.

Speaker 13 (32:49):
Driver, fire cab driver, really like one of them. Yeah
everybody knew, yeah, yeah, like everybody.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
Grow you right down. Bro.

Speaker 14 (33:03):
He got good convos, he run lights, such an aspiration.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
But that's interesting.

Speaker 14 (33:10):
I'm never really it's crazy because as a kid, like
I never really had Like there's people who like, yo,
when I grow up, I'm gonna be a doctor, I'm
gonna be there, and they lock in, you know, with
that goal, Like I never had that. And it's kind
of like if you are one of those people that's
listening that you kind of like don't know what you
want to do in your life, but you have certain
things that interest you like, lean into that and see

(33:31):
where that takes you, especially now, like any any hobby
now could become like a business.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Right right, dell Ortiz is here with me and mano,
are you loving doing the stand up?

Speaker 6 (33:40):
I really am? I really am. I'm enjoying now.

Speaker 14 (33:43):
I'm having so much fun, Like I'm starting to learn
how to do like crowd work, messing with the audience
and stuff. Right like the oh the other show, we
had this guy he was sitting in the front row
right and he had to get up to use the bathroom.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
So he got up. I'm like, yo, what if you're
gonna ship down? He sat down?

Speaker 14 (34:01):
He sat down, but he's like laughing about it, right,
But it's funny, you know. I'm not like pressing them.
I'm like, what you gotta go do? He's like, y'all
gotta pee, bro. I'm like, bro, hold it? You a man,
ain't you hold it? So ten minutes past, no, he
got back up to the bathroom again. I'm like, shut
them down, and I'm screaming the audience is going crazy.

Speaker 6 (34:22):
Bro.

Speaker 14 (34:23):
Ten minutes past again and he's still sitting. He jumps
on stage and run towards me. Security think he's going
to attack me, but he runs past me, hops off
the stage, and runs full speed to the bathroom.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Yah, the audience was.

Speaker 14 (34:38):
I had to wait literally like a minute and a
half for the audience just to relax because we was
in tears, crying, even me.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
I was just like bro for nobody.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
No, of course he didn't have to do the first time. No,
you didn't have to the first time.

Speaker 14 (34:51):
So when he sat down, that's what made it funny,
Like you know what I mean, listen to me.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
You're going to be in Chicago.

Speaker 6 (34:58):
Oh yeah, oh that's next week.

Speaker 5 (35:00):
We Miami and then New York is now.

Speaker 14 (35:04):
We got four sold out shows. Oh wow at the
Levity Live Okay West.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
Nayak Oh that's stuff.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
I think last time Ida was here Auta Rodriguez that's
where she was headed to.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
And then you're gonna be in New Jersey as well.

Speaker 6 (35:16):
Yeah, in New Brunswick.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Rodel Ortiz.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Tell people how they could follow you also, how could
they see how they can see all the shows that
you have coming up and see your whole journey.

Speaker 14 (35:24):
Oh you could just follow me at rod Dell Ortiz

We appreciate you.

Speaker 14 (35:40):
Thank you so much representing Heavy God bless y'all, book,
God bless me way more.

Speaker 5 (35:46):

Way up.

Speaker 2 (35:50):

Way Up with Ye, And when we come back, you guys,
of course, have the last word.

Speaker 1 (35:56):

Speaker 12 (36:04):

Speaker 2 (36:06):

Speaker 2 (36:20):
All right, so mo is here, mo I just just
quickly tell us what this drip is supposed to do
for us as we're getting ready for a crazy weekend.

Speaker 15 (36:27):
Great, So today we infuse vitamins and minerals into your vein,
which happens to go directly into your organs and bypass
your digestive track.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
So we're doing ivy vitamins.

Speaker 15 (36:38):
It's fast absorption and we can get vitamins and high
higher doses. When you take orbal vitamins, only maybe half
is absorbed, so with ivy vitamin therapy, one hundred percent
is absorbed.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
Okay, I just peeed.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
It was bright yellow, so I think it's working. Yeah,
but I feel energetic, drink a lot of border.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
Yet.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
Well, thank you so much for this very welcome.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
I got a very active weekend ahead of me, and
thank you again also to Radel Ortiz for joining us.
You can watch that foot interview on my YouTube channel
Way Up with Ye and of course, as our listener is,
it's all about you.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
You have the last word.

Speaker 8 (37:12):
Hey Angela, my aunt wipes her butt and puts the
paper towels in the trash can right beside the toilet.
That's crazy. Have a good day. God bless you.

Speaker 13 (37:23):
Hey Angela, I heard you.

Speaker 8 (37:24):
Talking about mentioning our dark secret. Don't tell nobody.

Speaker 14 (37:28):
