(00:00):
How long have you ever waited fora doctor's appointment? Good morning, It's
Joanna and Sean right here on Sunnywhen I was six point five. And
is there anything worse than having along wait at a doctor's office so inconvenience?
Yeah, Look, you had tosit at an obgyn's office for over
an hour and it wasn't even inthe waiting room. I mean you were.
(00:20):
You were in the room in arobe naked. Basically, Yeah,
the worst. I mean, I'vehad some long waits. Oddly enough,
it's always been at a dentist's office. I feel like dentists, for some
reason get obscenely overbooked for whatever reasonand always run late. I know they
tell you to book them early, but I know I've waited a dentist's waiting
room for you know, forty fiveminutes to an hour in the past.
(00:42):
I never I never had to dealparticularly with what you've done. But what
I will say is this, ifI have been at a doctor's office for
any extended period of time, likesitting in the actual room like you were,
that's when I start pocketing, liketongue depressors and cotton swabs and anything
I can get my hands on becausetypically once you start rummaging through stuff,
that's when the opens. Look,if you're making me wait, that's that
(01:02):
you're going to charge me for beinglate for an appointment. I'm taking cotton
swabs home for my bathroom. Sothat's why I think there should just be
something that changes universally. If thedoctor is late for your appointment past fifteen
minutes, then you should get adiscount, no charge, no copay.
As I'm taking a discount. Something. Something needs to be put into place,
(01:23):
because I don't think you can threatenlate charges for appointments if you are
also going to be late as thedoctor. I one hundred percent agree.
We're taking your calls. Seven ohtwo seven nine six, one oh six
five. We got someone on thephone right now. Hey, who's this
Whitney? Hi Whitney, good morning, Thanks for giving us a call to
chime in on this for having me. Of course, have you ever had
(01:45):
to wait a really long time ata doctor's office, and if so,
what was that timeframe? Oh?Oh yeah, I once waited an hour
and a half at the guy tocollege's office. Yeah, so like you
have to take your clothes off, okay, and so I waited so long,
so I had to put my clothesback on to go to the bathroom
(02:06):
yeap girl, and then take myclothes off again. And then I was
like I had I had a jobinterviewing scheduled for later that day, and
I was like, I have toleave. Yeah. I go to put
my clothes back on for the secondtime and the doctor comes in. She's
like, hey, fire you forthe way, and I was like,
I actually I kind of go She'slike what. I was like, Yeah,
I've been I've been here for avery long time, and I have
(02:29):
an appointment that I have to getto, and I'm like I am getting
really upset and like really emotional andfeeling guilty because I'm like I feel like
I am bailing on them, eventhough they made me wait for an hour
and a half. Yeah, Andshe's like, don't cry. And then
she has the audacity to say, yeah, we tend to start running late
as the day goes on, soif you don't want this to happen again,
(02:52):
make sure you book your appointment earlierin the day next time. Yeah.
I know, I know, andI know the emotions how it feels
like you're like, wait, whydo I feel guilty about leaving, don't
worry about that. Yeah, yougotta go, you gotta go. Yeah,
you want to be to begin with, You're like, you're not excited
to be there. You want toget out of there as soon as possible.
(03:14):
Longer you're there, you're like,I just want to leave. I
just want to leave so frustrated.Totally totally understand that. Yeah, I
totally get it, went Andy, thank you for chiming and you have me
beat you beat my my hour andten minutes. There you go. Yeah,
I'm sorry that you got to dothat too, though. Hey,
look I'm close to forty. IfI have to go to the proctologist here
soon, I hope they don't makeme wait. I want to get in
(03:34):
and out, yes,
