The Michael Barry Show. I gotan email from the guy. My wife
and I jokingly call Mike Glass. And he's in on the joke too,
because you remember the story years ago. My wife said, hey, you
mind if I call Mike Glass toreplace the glass on that window? And
I said, who Mike Glass?Who is that? Well, coincidentally the

(00:26):
guy who does our glass. Isaid, that's Mike Silva. She said,
no, it's Mike Glass. Look, she shows me her phone because
if it says Mike Glass the wayshe entered it in her phone, that
has to be his name, right. I fell out. I fell out
laughing. I said, sweetheart, his name is Mike Silva. Silva,

(00:47):
it's not Mike Glass. We finallydeduced that she would have gotten his name
in number at one point when hewas done a lot of glass work for
us over the years. Mind you, we lived in a house that was
all glass. I mean it wasalmost entirely the ext It is like a
downtown office building, but it wasbuilt by a commercial architect. It was

(01:08):
my dream home and so, asyou can imagine, you have a lot
of glass work done in our studio. I wanted a glass rail to border
our stairs. Ramon's got little kids, So when the kids came in,
I didn't want to worry that theywere going to fall off the side of
the stairs, So we had aglass wall put up the side of there.

(01:29):
We had to replace all the glassdownstairs in our studio, big glass
with frosted glass halfway. I mean, he does a lot of glass for
us. He's kind of half familyat this point. So anyway, Mike
Glass sends me a message. DowntownHouston after Hurricane Alicia looked like a war
zone, mainly because of the gravelroofs on many of the high rises.

(01:51):
I didn't think about that all thatgravel on top of those vortex winds,
with gravel of different size peppered thosebuildings is leaving hundreds of panes of glass
broken. Thus, vinyl roofs becamethe common sense replacement. Yesterday's winds,
combined with the typical vortex effect, may have literally sucked the glass out of

(02:15):
each frame, along with debris flyingaround. And I thought that's all good.
But I wonder if my wife's calledhim about that busted out window in
our house. I'm on the wayto replace that broken window at your house.
Woo that was. I mean,I'm grateful for the insight, Don't
get me wrong, but I'm reallyglad he's on his way. If you
