The Michael Berry Show. Czar.My daughter was driving home on two ninety.
This is from Cindy, close toBarker Cypress. When it hit.
She was hysterical, but made itoff and inside pluckers. She ran in
with no shoes and left her hazardson. Everyone inside hung out in the
kitchen until it passed. A sweetfamily watched over her and even gave her

(00:23):
some mama hugs. She was shakenfrom adrenaline and they were offering her their
jackets. A big thank you tothat family from this mama. My other
daughter and I were huddled in ourbathroom with the pets, but only after
I went outside to look around likea good Texan. Seven three one thousand.

(00:45):
Let's go to Audrey. Audrey, you're on the Michael Berry Show.
Ooh, good morning. Hysterical isthe exact word you know. As a
reporter, I have driven through hurricanesLouisiana. I have covered serial killers.
This was the first. This isthe first time ever in my life to

(01:07):
experience something like this. I drovethrough that, I drove through that tornado.
I felt my truck lifted up offthe ground. There's no way anyone
in an electrical vehicle or a smallcar could have made it. I don't
know how they did, grace ofGod if they did. You know,

(01:30):
it's at times like this that happenedmore than we realized that you stop and
think about things like that. Soif the power is out for somebody for
several days, the chargers are down, what do you do with your automobile.
My dad was the ever ready bunny. We were prepared at all times

(01:53):
for storms and the light and youknow, kind of funny till it happens.
And that's that's the guy you relyon, right the people who prepare
ahead, the people. Ramon's gotthese big like a battery, a boat

(02:15):
motor, but bigger. They're liketowers that you can plug into your freezer.
So he doesn't lose, no matterwhat doesn't lose what's in his freezer.
Because for people that you know bya cow at a time, I
got an email from Ryan and thisis sort of on that level, czar
Are. We live in the ninetynine slash five twenty nine area. It

(02:38):
was bad, power out, cellphone towers down. We made it to
my parents' house in the nineteen sixtyChampions area. This is where it gets
good. When we arrived just beforemidnight, we get an immediate house briefing.
I have parents who are seventy fiveand seventy eight. They're out of

(02:58):
their routine and they need to waron us about a couple of house updates.
My dad takes a set of keys, demonstrates how to use a key
to lock the back door, showsme precisely where to place the key on
the washing machine so that he canfind it in the morning. Then the
upstairs guests toilet briefing. You gottahold that handle down and just let it

(03:23):
flush. Zar that's the trick.Hold it down till it's finished. There's
in depth conversation about the weather, the drive over, sharing of storm photo,
sleeping arrangements, and of course Iwas offered lunch meat if I was
hungry. We got a plan inplace for the morning. I think we
got all the bases covered. Thisis my family, and the problem is

(03:45):
when you're raising a family like that, you can't tolerate people that don't plan
ahead, people that take out loansand don't expect to pay them back,
people that you can't you're so you'reso built that way. My dad believed
that if you let your the gasgo if you if you burn more than

(04:05):
a quarter tank without replacing it,that you were you were, you were
a ward of the state. Becausesomething happens, you need to be able
to get out and get in thecar and get away. That may be
the only air conditioning you have inthe extreme heat, that may be your
only opportunity to move around. Soyou shouldn't let the gas run down.

(04:27):
You should keep them stocked up atall times. Everything prepared. And that's
real laughable until that storm hits. And who's the guy on the street You
start looking to ray You're on theMichael Berry Show, sweetheart, go ahead,
Hey, Michael, it got prettywestern in Waller last night. I
heard, you know, I justgot an email from somebody from Waller with

(04:50):
some photos and it was it wasrough. Tell me about it. Well,
i'd gotten home, my husband's outof town, my son one was
there with means working, and ofcourse, being the redneck Texans that we
are, we heard that there wasa tornado. We had to go out

(05:10):
and see if we could find it. And when it did get a little
scary, we went back inside. But we didn't have much damage at our
house. Our neighborhood took quite abit of damage. Large trees uprooted,
a lot of trees broken in half. We had powder poles that were snapped,

(05:30):
and because we are on a neighborhoodwater system, we have no water.
We have no electricity and probably won'tfor days. When it cleared up,
my son grabbed the chainsaw and wegot to work truck and went through
the neighborhood and started cutting trees upso people could get into their driveways.

(05:53):
But the damage is pretty extensive asfar as trees. It doesn't appear that
there were many homes or any homestamage. But I don't know when we
will get electricity back. It's andit was a little it was scary,

(06:15):
but we lost our sales service untilabout four this morning. I don't want
to have to go through it again. And the cleanup is going to be
fun, but you know, it'sTexas. It's what we do. That
is what we do. Folks willthere will be the people who will go

(06:39):
out take care of their own home, first, cure of their own family.
Then they'll start next door. They'llgo to the little old lady.
They'll take care of her the waythat her late husband would have for the
generation before. And I will saythis, and I am one hundred percent
certain, and it's so pissed thereare Democrats who listen to the show.
There will not be Democrats out helping. They will not be hood rats out

(07:00):
helping. There will not be felonsand criminals out helping. There won't There
will be traditional value American patriot DonaldTrump vote and make America great again people
out helping. And yes, they'llhelp the turds and the libtards and everything

(07:21):
else too. It's just the wayit is. It's always been, they'll
always be. If you like TheMichael Berry Show and Podcast, please tell
