My Divorce Party.

We've also got a new case in Courtney's court, and
today I'm serving up some common sense justice people. But
up next our Good Deed of the Week. You're on
with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
You're Mario Courtney Lopez, and every week we celebrate someone
who's done a good deed. Who are we putting in
the spotlight today?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Honey Country artist Zach Brian So. Tornadoes have devastated parts
of Oklahoma and Nebraska. Well, Zach's tour had them in
that region for a few days, so we had the
band spend their days helping with the cleanup. Very cool,
Isn't that very nice?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
It's very nice.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
But if you're looking for a way that you could help,
the American Red Cross has a setup fund specifically for
those regions. So that was very sweet.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
More Mario Lopez coming up?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
What Omrio Courtney Lopez here with a baby reindeer update.
The real woman who the show is loosely based on,
says she's the victim. She accuses creator Richard Gadd of
having quote main character syndrome. She says she may even
consider legal action. We are four episodes in, and you

(01:22):
know what, I don't know if I'm gonna disagree with
her on this. We're about halfway, but it just gets
more wild and wild.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Honey, Well, she should, she's a lawyer, she should seek
legal action.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
That's true, that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I've only seen the teaser and I saw she claimed that.
So spoiler's there.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
All right, good, We'll stop there. Let's get back to music.
You omorow Courtney Lopez. Let's take a look at what's
on TV. Netflix debuts.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Frankly speaking, it's a well respected announcer suddenly loses his
ability to self censor himself on air. I'm tuning into
this guy.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
So he gets tourette's. I didn't know you can achieve tourettes.
I thought you were born with this.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
This is kind of like that movie Liar Liar with
Jim Carrey.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Paramount Plus has a new season of Behind the Music.
Episodes will focus on Bell BIV Devo, BBD, Honey, Trays
Adkins and Wolfgang van h Allen.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Van Halen van Halen. Oh my god, wow, alright, wow.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Wow, Trace Adkins and Wolfgang van Halen.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I love behind the music in hearing all these the
originals back in the day on v H one were
so good. Jomar Corney Lopez. Time to dish out some
common sense justice. All rise Courtney's Court is now in session.
Today's case comes from at for Circe and they say,
I'm ready to leave my husband. In fact, I've already

(02:51):
been renting a secret apartment for a few months, but
I have no idea how to end it.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
What do I do? Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
This is heavy duty?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Wow, you know what I think? If indeed you know
for a fact that you want to leave your husband
and not working out, you need to be honest with him.
Don't be hiding anything. Renting secret apartments.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
By the way, where do you think you go? She
doesn't necessarily kick it there, she's probably just paying for it,
just working, she's preparing, correct.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I mean, that's just a waste of money.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You need to got to rip off the band aid.
You got to rip off the.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Band aid, and you got to tell him, or just
move your stuff out one day while he's gone and
when he comes home you're not there.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
No, you got to be mature. That's awful. This isn't
in high school.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
But maybe he will.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
He won't take no for an answer. I know some.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
People that's different. She didn't mention any of that. Unless
she's in danger, then that's different. But if not, she
just doesn't know how to go about and do it.
You got to let him know because things need to
be worked out, property, all that stuff, all right, Just
just tell him.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Memorialpez coming up.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Mario Courtney Lopez here with details of the next big
reboot where it is. Netflix and Warner Brothers are working
on a live action Scooby Doode. Okay, Raggy, this won't.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Be a comedy, even though we're laughing at you. Will
be drama in the vein of Wednesday. And weren't you
in a Scooby Doo cartoon?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Can you play Shaggy?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
No? I was a villain. Oh a loha, Scooby. It
was a Scooby movie, a very popular one, by the way.
People still bring it up to me. Where I was
Manu the bad guy? Mario Courtney Lopez. Here was some
quick buzz for you. Blue Ivy Carter about to make
her film debut. She's been cast in the Lion King prequel,
joining her mom, who was already part of the movie.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
She'll be the voice of Simba's daughter. And you can
see the trailer for a movie at on with Mario
dot Com.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
You're a Mario Courtney Lopez. Let's get to your comments.
What'd you find, honey?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
This is from at I'm Charlie Heally, and they said,
how could someone step into a boxing ring against a nine.
I'm not saying you're going to hell, but you're not
getting into heaven.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, I'm Charlie Heally is referring to a post I
made of this nun who was shadow boxing, and she
looked like she'd been whooping some butt for a while.
Now she was shadow boxing them sins away, you need
a lot of hail. Mary's even stepping the ring with her.
I don't know if she's actually a fighter, but she
was probably one of the more athletic looking nuns I

(05:26):
think I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
She obviously trains, which I love.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yes, it's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
She is second to none.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Oh good joke that was good.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
More fun on the way on with Mario.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Lopez, Alborow Courtney Lopez got some May Day birthdays today

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Oh yeah, because today is the first of May.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Jamie Dornan from Fifty Shades of Gray Once upon a
Time fifty.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Shades of Grass, Hey, but they say the guy. I
wonder they never saw that coming when they recorded that song.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Oh no, no social social media era.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
You could not have planned that.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
There was no social media back then.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Maybe MySpace.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Jamie Dornan know who clued this who this is? But
I'm gonna say he's fifty.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
No, Jamie is uh, I believe only thirty nine.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Forty two, forty two. Darius McCrary Eddie Winslow on Family.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Matters, was that the dad the son, he's got to
be forty five at this point?

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Fifty forty eight for you and one of the greatest
musicians of all time created one of the greatest themes
of all time for any movies to take it easy,
Ray Parker Junior Ghostbusters.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Theme, I'm gonna go with fifty.

Speaker 2 (06:51):

Speaker 3 (07:05):
I eat it every day National Salad Day.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
That is your go to move right there, You're like
a rabbit.

Speaker 3 (07:13):

but I like to get it in graze throughout the
day and put my favorite tournament.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Shout out chop salad. I do love me a good
chop salad. Was that place called Chop Chop Stop? Yes,
that place is cool.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Shout out Caesar invented in Mexico.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
That's right Ijuana. Mario Lopez here at today's guest is
one of the stars of the new movie My Divorce Party,
but she's also taken on a new role Mama. It's

(07:51):
actor Rumor Willis, who maybe looking to expand the family.
We're going to ask about it next era Mario Lopez
Jordan even now on zoom from the new film I
Divorce Party, actress Rumor Willis. Welcome back, Rumor. How are
you you?

Speaker 6 (08:04):
I'm so good.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I'm doing well? First off, I know you have a
one year old, right you? Congratulations. I don't think i've
seen you since then and a lot of baby talk
already on ig Are you thinking about having another kid already?

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Maybe? I mean I want a big brood, so I mean,
I'm one of five girls, so I feel like, you know,
at some point we have to have a boy in
this mix.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah right, Oh my gosh. Well, once you get the
next one, you'll see it's a game changer right there,
juggling and then with the fighting and the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
But I feel like one to two is always the
hardest with dogs, with babies, like it's always the most challenging.
But then after that, it's like, you know, yeah, I
have three.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I was going for four, but I don't know if
my wife will go for it. But it is a
lot of fun once you get all the chaos right there.
And I know your daughter recently celebrated her birthday, right, yeah,
April eighteenth. Oh that's great. What's her personality like?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Now?

Speaker 6 (09:03):
She's so funny, so smart, Like we were teaching her.
We were just on vacation and we were teaching her.
My sister were teaching her how to blow a kiss,
and she got it within a couple minutes. She picks
up on stuff so fast. She's just she's so online.
You know, you see some babies that are just like
still kind of chilling and being like a little larva.

(09:26):
She's like, I want to move, and she's very clear
with what she wants, tells you points and things, loves
food like she's just she's just the most magorical creature.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Little girls of the best. That's awesome. Well, I want
to talk about the new movie, but we got to
take a break hold on. We're gonna have more Rumor
Willis coming up, more fun on the.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with my divorce Party actress
Rumor Willis, and we were talking about your one year old.
What do grandma and grandpa want to be called? Any
names yet?

Speaker 6 (09:53):
My mom is yah yah yah yah and yeah, which
is I guess the Greek word for for grandma and
my dad is popoo?

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Is that is that from a language?

Speaker 6 (10:10):
I think I think it might be Greek as well.
We kind of just went for it, you know, because
she's got a lot of she's got a lot of
people in her life to delineate, you know, different different
names for everybody.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
How is papoo by the way, so good, good, nice. Yeah,
let's see in all the pictures of you and the
family there are although on rumor Less plays more music.
What Almara Lopez here? My guest is Rumor Willis from
the new movie My Divorce Party. So Mother's Day is
around the corner. What what's an ideal day for you?
Oh man?

Speaker 6 (10:45):
I just want to hang out with my kid. Honestly,
I love her so much. I'm around even if I'm
away from her for a little while. I just want
to hang out with her. But now that I get
to actually celebrate Mother's Day, I would love to spend
time with my grandma, my dad's mom, because she's the
matriarch of our family and is whip smart and so fun.

(11:07):
And normally we do because there are so many women
in my family, we do like a Mother's Day get
together in Bronch with all of us. Last year. It
was amazing because I just had my daughter and all
got to come together. So I'm sure we'll do something
similar this year.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
That's cool, all right? Well, I want to talk to
My Divorce Party after we play some more music. A
Mario Lopez got actors Rumor Willis on zoom with me
let's get to the movie. Congratulations my Divorce Party. I'm
assuming it's about a divorce and someone there was a party,
but I may be wrong.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
What else, you know, it's kind of I feel like
Bridesmaids was one of the first films to really kind
of crack open this lane of allowing women to do
comedy without having to be sexy, right, And I feel
like a lot of the time we're pigeonholed into Okay,

(12:02):
if they're going to be funny, but it has to
be sexy or you know, there's this one specific lane.
And what I love is, you know, there's all of
these films about men and getting together, whether it's a
bachelor party, a divorce party, or something, and they're very crass,
and they make silly jokes and they're kind of their
wild misadventures.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Right.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
We've been watching them for years, and I feel like
sometimes with women it can be a bit limiting because
people don't really want to necessarily see that side of women.
And so, but we all know that we're like that
when we're with each other, and I feel like this
movie does a funny job of being able to just
show a little bit of that the women and the
other girls are so funny, and I have to say

(12:44):
we had such a silly time making each other laugh
and just trying to not necessarily play tricks on each other,
but just really kind of like ribbing each other being silly, and.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Sure, it was really fun. I have a lot of
female because in a sister and so I've been to
a lot of these functions. Well, women are way nastier
than guys, way nastier. They're mad funny because they're so nasty. Sope,
I hope you all kept it real like that. The
movie is My Divorce Party, available now on demand. Got
to take a little break. We're gonna wrap it up

(13:18):
with Rumor Willis in just a moment.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
We're the full interview now at on with Mario dot Com.
More Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Mario Lopez here wrapping things up with actors Rumor Willis
from the new movie My Divorce Party. So where'd you
film it?

Speaker 6 (13:32):
We spent three weeks in Joshua Tree and it was
kind of towards the middle to end of COVID, so
there was no one there. So we're just all, you know,
stationed up with the best Western and there's like two
restaurants we can go to, and it was it was
just silliness and so much fun because we're also in

(13:53):
wild costumes. We've got like, you know, crazy makeup every day,
and our director really kind of let us play. We
would be like slipping in jokes every day, be going
all right, what about this one? And she really just
let us go, and it was so much fun.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
You ever been to a divorce party in real life?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
You know?

Speaker 6 (14:10):
I haven't. I feel like maybe I'm getting to that
age now where.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
There might right right.

Speaker 6 (14:16):
I'm kind of in that middle ground where there's like
the younger friends who got married really early. But I
feel like, you know, thirty five, thirty six is like
right around or we're either going to like stick this
out people, or they're like, all right, divorce party, lets go.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah, let's turn up, let's turn out.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
Going to the weddings. I'm still going to the weddings
and baby showers right now.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
There you go. Well, congratulations on everything, both personally and professionally.
My divorce party is available now a rumor. Thanks so
much for hanging out. Thank you, Courtney Lopez. Let's put
a spotlight on my lovely wife. It is time for
Courtney's random thought. What do you got, honey?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Okay, why is it that one of short person waves
that you. We don't call it a microwave?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Oh it's tiny cold?

Speaker 6 (15:03):
You know.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
That is a little insulting to short people. However, if
a baby waves at you, I think we can get
away with calling it a microwave.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
But I'm short. Yes, my aunt used to call me Shortney, short.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Me, short me new nickname?

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Oh no, okay, Eral Mario Courtney Lopez. New TV show
we're watching over at Costa Lopez and so far, so good.
We are two episodes in on a buzzy show that
we were talking about a lot on Access Hollywood. So
I said, all right, I'll give it a shot since
we finished Quiet on the Set. Yeah, which is a disturbing,

(15:39):
really good doc by.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
The way, one more of those, I think.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Oh man, this is called Baby Reindeer on Netflix and
it's based on a true story and it's about a
guy who's an aspiring comedian who works as a bartender
and who has a stalker. That's all i'm gonna say.
And it is really good. I want to watch it
binged all five episodes. I'm gonna say this though, honey,

(16:03):
without saying too much. I feel in the first episode
I was sort of sympathetic toward him. In the second episode,
I'm like, Okay, this dude has issues too, not just
the stalker. And I feel he could have been a
little bit more discouraging to this stock.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
I think he encouraged it.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
He could have been a little clear and a little
stronger and in his discourageon Do you not agree?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (16:26):
I do.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
And you know, I always think of myself in that situation,
and I wouldn't have done nearly half the stuff that
this guy did.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Right, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (16:37):
But I'm not him, so I can't.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Well, I'm intrigued.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
I'm telling you it's a pretty good it's a pretty good.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Watch because I would have done what he did initially
for the person because he felt back. I felt you
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
But once you knew that they weren't well right, then
you got to be cut on the break and put
on the brakes. Check it out if you haven't. Mario
Lopez coming up, Mario Lopez here, my wife Courtney in.
Amazon has a hit with their new series Fallout. Hard
to believe these numbers, sixty five million viewers. In the
first two weeks, sixty percent of the audience is from

(17:11):
outside of the US, but Amazon says it is the
most watch show ever among eighteen to thirty four year olds.
I actually just had a conversation with someone at jiu
Jitsu today about this show. Who's in it?

Speaker 4 (17:23):
The Walton Goggins.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I love Walton Goggins. But the reason it is such
a big hit it's based on a wildly popular video game.
That's why sixty percent of the audience I believe is
from outside the US, because there's a lot of gamers
outside of the US. Hey, it's working, all right. Let's
get back to the music. Mario Courtney Lopez here, and
we've had some very cool conversations with our guests lately.

(17:47):
Liam Neesen told us about his early involvement in Lincoln.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
David Archiletta talked about his nerves on the eve of
his big return to Idle Bachelor. Tyler Cameron told us
how long a couple should wait before we're going Instagram official.
You can check out all of our interviews at on
with Mario dot com, or subscribe to the pod.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Yoon Mario Courtney Lopez to for one last thing. I
hosted the bare knuckle boxing event that went down for
the very first time here in LA at the beautiful
Peacock Theater, which is more of a music venue. Somehow
they made it work though, had over seven thousand people
there and it was a big success for its inaugular event.

(18:30):
They had some kinks to kind of work out, but
the fights delivered. It was NonStop action and a lot
of positive buzz afterwards. Honey, you were there close enough
to the apron. Fraser was actually there too, yeh. I
thought you might get some blood supplatted on you. I didn't.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
We almost had our blood spilled, I think too, because
there was a fight in the crowd that kind of
spilled over into us.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
That was the only one. You guys, happen to be
right there when that happened with your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
You know, very exciting. The energy in the crowd was
kind of like you know when you go to a
boxing match. There's that energy that can't be matched.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
The people.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
They're just basically animals in a ring beating each other senselessly,
and there.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Is there are some skill.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
There is some skill, but a lot of accidents like this.
One guy fell on his arm and broke his arm.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Ironically, a lot of the injuries, you're right, were from
not getting punched. It was from falling. It was a
dislocated shoulder. There was a broken arm, there was a
torn by set.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
You could see that dude's bicet rolled up in his arm.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
The guy who hit the rope.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Yes, yes, because the ropes seem to be an opponent
to themselves.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
What about Juggernaut when he broke his arm and his
duke was like.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Oh, yes, it wasn't there a broken jaw before we
got there.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yes, there was that, but that's expected in a fight, teach,
when he broken arms from falling, which is weird.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
I just think they need to work on the ring
because there's a lot of visual obstruction obstructions.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Right.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah, there were some notes. I think there's some stuff
that could work on. For the most part, I think
the product is really good and it.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Was really really good, and you did a great job.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
And it does move quick. Thank you. Be out on
the lookout for the next one.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
More Mario Lopez coming up all.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Right, time to punch out, but we're back tomorrow to
celebrate Throwback Thursday.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
Plus I've got to tell you something. One of our
kids did. They're doing so many things nowadays. They're getting
a little too savvy with those apps. All right, you guys.
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney saying good night
