(00:00):
I thought this was, uh,you know, for us and for anybody
that listens. You know, ifyou're especially you're listening in the morning and
not on the podcast the bad morningHabits and the good ones, the four
ones you shouldn't start your day with. And I looked at these, going
are they nuts? They say, don't wake up to an alarm because it
immediately causes anxiety. Try something thatstudies it found works better, like waking

(00:21):
up to the radio. If you'redumb, if the radio went off to
wake me up, I would sleepthrough it. I would have a dream
where that song is playing. Right, you know what I mean? Right?
Yeah? You know what? Though? Even better? Have you guys
seen the alarm clocks that wake youup by they become like sunlight? Yeah?
No, who's waking up to that? Nobody? If you wait,

(00:44):
if you slip with the TV on, you have sunlight all night. I
have found the old school, howwe've always woken up our whole lives,
does the trick. Yeah, andsure it does start your day with anxiety,
like get out of bed and getto work, or you can't pay
your bills. Well that's funny becausenumber two is don't immediately try to problem
solve. That groggy feeling is calledsleep inertia. Typically last fifteen minutes to

(01:06):
an hour, So let yourself easeinto the day before you start trying to
solve anything. Who's waking up andproblem solving in the first three minutes exactly
unless you wake up to a problem. If you do, happen. If
you do, you're going to needto solve it right. Number three,
don't dive straight into email. Reachingfor your phone to read the news is

(01:27):
okay, but you shouldn't be checkingyour inbox as soon as you wake up.
Boy whoever wrote this says must haveno accountability at their jobs. Yeah.
I'm always so jealous of people thoughthat when they leave work, they're
not going to be inundated with emails, like their life just goes on as
normal, and then when they getback in the office then they manage things.

(01:49):
That is not the case for us. I know. People. Let's
say I have a work phone withmy email on it, and come five
o'clock, I shut it off andput it in my glove compartment and I
turn it back on the next morning. Good luck. Well, you're a
fine asset to the plastic company.Yeah, you're gonna go far in plastics.
That's gonna be our thing for everything. No, I don't focus on
what went wrong yesterday. Try yourbest to start fresh. And so I

(02:13):
do agree with that. It's agreat it's in theory. It's great.
It's just if you're able to doit, that's all. Sometimes what happened
yesterday is gonna rock me for therest of the week, for the rest
of your life, for sure. Finally the good things. Focus on what
you want to achieve and make alist that sounds like work. Though,
start with some deep breathing. Okay, look at something that makes you smile.

(02:38):
You know, you see your petsin the morning. That makes me
strong. Sure, get moving. It doesn't have to be a full work
out. But they say when youget up and start moving around. And
I do feel like we were. It's true, like we I feel like
because the way we did our showthe last three days, where yes,
it was fun to like get up, take a shower, get in the
elevator, and go to the lobby, but we were like we were,

(02:58):
I feel we were more active. Were walking into a theme park in the
morning at four am, Like thatwas kind of cool. Yea, So
there's something about being active that way.
