working here May first, Yeah, but not with me. I guess right,
I was working. I was doingall the onboardings. Were work adjacent?
Was working adjacent to you? Well, there was a colossal fail in
the studio this morning at six am. It was not a failed we'll talk

(00:49):
about it. Very lovely thing forme. We'll talk about that at seven
forty. If you want to findout what happened. There's also thank Goodness
video, So we have record ofwhat happened. That's coming up at seven
forty. We are at eight sevenseven nine eight one oh nine eight one.

jt coming to the boat. Ohyeah, it's in May seventh. It
feels like it's so far away.Yeah, it's Tuesday, Tuesday. Yeah,
so we'll do that at eight twentyfive, coming out with this Morning
it's six twenty five. It's theMorning Breeze brain Tease. Yes, the
average American says, you can't havejust one of these, you need three.

(01:36):
Average American says you can't have justone of these, you need to
have three. All right, ifyou think you know the answer eight seven
seven nine, eight one oh nineeight one, and we'll give you that
answer. Six twenty five. That'sright here on the Morning Breeze and Louise
they're righteous Brothers. Six twenty four. It is the Morning Breeze with Carolyn

(01:56):
and Court. Good morning, everyweekday morning twenty five and eight forty we
bring you the Morning Breeze brain teas. The average American says you can't have
just one of these, you needthree. That is this morning's Morning Breeze
brain Teas. Okay, eight seven, seven nine eight one, nine eight
one. Michael in Redwood City,Good morning, what do you think it

(02:19):
is? Tattoos? Tattoos? Goodguess? Can you have just one tattoo?
Is three better than this? Istrue? It's a slippery slope for
sure. Yeah. Now that isnot what the average American thinks about when
it comes to this. It's nottattoos. My guess would be a spare
set of house keys. I havethree, you have three? Yeah,

(02:40):
I have my house keys, andI have a backup and a backup,
back up to your backup. Itis not house keys. The average American
says, you can't have just oneof these. You need three pillows,
oh, which to me is justtoo many. Yeah. I used to
be a big pillow guy. Really, there was a time, and so
I'm probably part of this problem.Ten years ago, if you have asked

(03:02):
me this, I would have saidthree pillows, really, because you kind
of spread them out so you cankind of roll around and no matter where
you roll, you got a pillows. See, I've always been a one
pillow girl. I have two,but I only use one. What do
you do you put to the side, scoot it to the side. Yeah,
I'm now to two I kind ofhave one where my head is,
and then one I kind of cuddlewith. Oh that's cute. Yeah,

(03:23):
never mind my wife, Sorry,Randy, she's cuddling her own pillow.
Three pillows is what the average Americansays is necessary. I think we're getting
into the weeds here, but Ithink a lot of it has to do
with a pillow. Also, becauseyou know, there are the pillow sitters
as real squishy pillows where you couldhave three of them all squished together.
Some of them, yeah, someof them are the harder pillows. You
just need one. I like agood hard pillow, me too, but

(03:45):
I got to have two of them. Okay, but not three. Pillow
talk on the Morning brings pillow talk, but not the pillow talk. You
think I got that pillow? No, not that U at all. We're
at eight seven seven nine eight onenine eight one. It's the Morning Brede's
Brained. We do it every weekdaymorning at six twenty five and again at

(06:33):
Tuesday. I know, earlier thismorning, I said on May seventh,
and then Court said, yeah, that's six days, six days away.
And given that today is kind oftechnically justin Timberlake day, It's gonna be
may Oh, what you have Younever seen that meme? No okay,
he says it's gonna be It's gonnabe may Okay. I can't wait show

(06:54):
you a meme that's exciting. Eighttwenty five. When those justin Timberlake concert
tickets, here are the Morning Breeze. It's Madonna. Seven twenty five.
You have The Morning Breeze with Carolynand Cork. Good morning, Carolyn.
One of my favorite parts of beinga parent is watching my daughters grow up
and become their own person. Forsure. Yeah, they develop different,

(07:15):
unique traits that are different from mywife and I because you know, when
they're younger, they're just kind ofemulating what we do. They're into what
we're in or what we've put infront of them, and then they become
their own people, which is kindof neat for you guys to watch.
Yeah, So I've got Quinn whois nineteen almost nineteen. She's off to
college. Sloan is our youngest, she's our baby. She's sixteen, and
over the past six months, I'verealized that she's developed a taste for hot

(07:36):
sauce, which is lone Sloan.Yeah, okay, she is not.
That does not come for me becauseI mean, you don't like anything spicy
ketchup sometimes it's too much fun.Yeah, cork does not do the spice.
My wife a little bit on thehot sauce, but not a lot.
Okay, But Sloane has just learnedto love hot sauce. I love
it all sorts of stuff. She'sgot a very sophisticated palette. Oh when

(07:59):
it comes to everything, or hotsauce in particular, she likes to experiment.
But when it comes to heat,oh, I love this. I
love hot sauce. Yeah. Overthe weekend, though, I discovered she
actually has now claimed a favorite hotsauce because she ran out. She said,
hey, Dad, when you're atthe grocery store and you grab my
favorite hot sauce, which one isit? Taco Bell hot sauce? That's

(08:22):
her sophisticated bell Slow, I meanshe do you know what? Though,
she's not wrong, she has itis pretty good. It's good. She
has other hot sauces, but herfavorite hot sauce Taco Bell. I mean,
did you pick up some Taco Bell? You know what? Though,
if I go to the grocery store, and there are options for taco shells.

(08:43):
You go with the Taco bell shell, which there is. Sometimes it's
got the dorito cheese on it.Guess what taco shells coming home? That
one one? Yeah, it tastesgood. You like, they're obviously doing
things right. They are. Therewas a there was a Taco shell up
in the town I grew up in, and they had a very special hot
sauce and it was not very hotat all. Yeah, and that's to

(09:05):
me, is like the epitome ofgreat hot sauce. You can't find it
anywhere. So whenever I go tomy hometown, I'd swing in and I
get some of it. These sauces, though they the brand name sauces,
like the restaurant there's a Chick filA sauce that you can put on your
sandwich. People don't want the knockoffs, they want the Chick fil A.
So I could see why the TacoBell hot sauce is the two sauce best

(09:28):
seller, and it's it's Sloan's favorite. Here's what Sloan's also going to find.
She's gonna get to a point.Take it from the old lady as
Sloan would be like, who's onehundred years older. But she's going to
get to a point where she needshot sauce on everything, not just the
Taco's gonna be on her eggs. She's gonna have it on her burger.
She was putting it on the otherday. Like again, I just am

(09:48):
so happy for her that she's likegetting that. She's you know, spicing
up her own food with hot sauce. And then I just want to see
you at the grocery store saying, excuse me, do you know where the
taco bell hot sauce. It's overthere, It's top shelf. It's top
shelf. Talk to sauce. We'reat eight seven seven nine eight one,

(10:09):
nine eight one. Maybe there's abrand name that that you're passionate about,
like everybody's got that product that makesto be and maybe it's a little quirky,
maybe it's not. Maybe it's quirky. Let us know where iHeartRadio app
that talkback microphone. That's a greatway for you to leave a message when
it's convenient for you. That's rightcoming up this morning, eight twenty five,
justin Timberlake. Coming to the SAPCenter next month, and we would

(10:31):
love to send you excuse me nextweek, Yeah, next Tuesday. Do
you think Justin eats hot sauce onanything great? Questions some that I've never
thought about it. I'm thinking no, he can't afford to like risk his
vocal cords. Oh yeah, yeah, I feel like he's not a risky
guy. Well maybe maybe if yougo to the show May seventh, that's
next Tuesday, SAP Center, JustinTimberlake will address it the het ask him.

(10:52):
I'm sure he'd love to talk toyou about that anyway. But you're
eight twenty five. Your chance towin tickets to see Justin Timberlake here on
the Morning Breeze. That is sucha good song. I know. Brian
Adams seven. It's The Morning Breezewith Carolyn in Court on what I thought
was a happy anniversary. It's tomy co host, as you've been announcing

(11:13):
for at least the past week onthe air, Court saying our anniversary is
coming up of working together one year. Here's what I want. I want
a stationary and a pen for agift, which is so random, but
it's very court. I don't thinkI I okay, here's what I said.
I said my work anniversary is comingup on the first. My first

(11:35):
day here at the Breeze was oneyear ago today. You may have said
that, but here's what I heard, our anniversary and then and then I
said, I said, I lovepens. I love stationary. Mm hmm.
I don't think I ever said Iwant pen. Here's what I thought.
I heard, I want pens andstationary. So yesterday, after the

(11:56):
show, I thought, I betterget to step and because it's an anniversary
tomorrow, I need to celebrate ourone year anniversary together. So I went
to a couple of stores. Igot a cake with a candle that's a
one one candle, and some stationaryand pens, and a nice car and

(12:22):
some gluten free donuts for me toeat and solid together. And then I
came in and I noticed that Iwas the only one with gifts, which
is fine, it's fine, it'sfine, it's fine. And then what
happened. Court says, So it'smy it's my anniversary, my anniversary,
what are you celebrating? And thatwent over really well. At six am

(12:45):
coming up on the eighth of May, you can expect your return gift.
You don't need to do that, and I'm not buying anything else. This
is it. I don't expect anything. You don't have to do anything.
It was very very kind of youto have thought about my one year anniversary
here. I feel like there wasan overlap where we weren't on the air
together yet. I'm curious to knowdid you ever did you ever mess up

(13:09):
any anniversaries over the years. No, and I didn't mess this one up.
If that's your Insituy, are youserious, let me get you a
shovel. I did not mess upour anniversary. I'm celebrating it because you
started at ninety eight one the breezetoday maybe not on the air anyway.
I hope you enjoy your cake, okay and your stationary. Can we decide

(13:31):
right now though, in the future, twenty twenty five, next year.
No, this is scarred forever.I don't know. We get when are
we going to celebrate? We needto choose figure it out. We're not
going to do that. We're inthis for the long haul, Carolyn.
No, I'm excited. My wifeand I are. Our wedding anniversary is
February nineteenth. It's so close toValentine's Day. We just decided we're going

(13:52):
to celebrate both of them together,Okay, and we go super low key.
And so I'm kind of hoping thatyou and I take the same approach,
go super low key up, yeah, excited. Well, I came
in with gifts on a cake. But we'll go low key from here,
and trust me, we're going togo low key from here on out.
We have video of the incident.Luckily somebody was filming video, so we've
got that for you on our Facebookpage if you want to go see what

(14:13):
really happened at ninety eight one theBreeze. But yeah, if you've goofed
a date, maybe you've goofed adate. Well, which one of us
goofed to date? Eight seven sevennine to eight one oh nine eight one
is how you reach us? Icannot win this argument. No, it's
okay, that's good, it's fine. You can win tickets to Justin Timberlake.
That's pretty great. He's coming tothe SAP Center next Tuesday. We'd

(14:33):
love to send you, so'd behere for the chance to win. Eight
twenty five Here on the Morning Breeze, Iris from the Goo Goo Dolls At
eight o seven Here on the MorningBreeze with Carolyn and quartel. Did you
hear that Southwest Airlines? I thinkthis was announced yesterday that they might be
changing the way that we bored theirplanes and choose our seats. You know,

(14:54):
how was Southwest unlike any other airline. You're either a group B groups
group. You line up and there'sno assigned seats other than as signed numbers
and letters. Yeah, so it'sweird. They they put out this totally,
this tease sort of online court thatsays, you know, we're going

(15:15):
to look at possible changes and we'lllet you know in September. So now
everybody's speculating on what could it be. Is the first come, first serve
going away? You know Southwest doesn'tcharge for bags. Well, I think
your first bag is for your firsttwo or something. Sure, we're other
airlines. It's thirty bucks minimum forbudget airlines. That's a that's a rarity.
Yes, And here's the key isit says as it looks for new

(15:37):
sources of revenue revenue. So nowI'm thinking, oh, something, something's
coming our way. They're warning us, right, what's interesting about their boarding
process? Because it makes me anxious? I am I have chosen not to
flow at fly Southwest because I don'tlike the boarding process. It makes people
a lot of angry. But accordingto many studies, it's one of the

(15:58):
more efficient airlines when it comes toyou. They they board planes quicker than
anybody else, do they really?And I think it's because it's a free
for all. I need to geton and get your seat right away.
Yeah, so nobody else takes it. I get anxious before those flights,
but I fly Southwest the most becauseit is efficient, because you know,
there's always on time or knock onwood, they seem to be. You

(16:19):
do it enough, you get usedto it. But I wouldn't be mad
if I didn't have to ever askagain, Hey, what number are you?
And then I stand in front ofsomebody to say one. That conversation
is always so awkward, so Idon't know what they're going to do,
and they say something's about to change. Everybody has to wear name tags that
has their number on it. Thatway you don't have to talk to each
other. Everything else stays the same. With your number, you have to

(16:40):
show it. That's the other thingis you never know when you say what
number are you? If the person'slying, I can't say, can I
see your ticket. I don't workthere United not too long ago, change
their boarding process where it was windowaisle or it was window seat or window
middle aisle. Okay, wit inthat order. So all the windows went
on first, and then the middleseats and then the aisles were the last
people. That makes sense that don'thave to step over people. I like

(17:03):
that. See, so something's comingour way to Southwest again. They said,
we'll find out in September, Soenjoy your something something to think about
eight seven seven nine eight one nineeight one is how you reach us.
