could probably pull off a cartwheel right, perfectly pull off a carwell to the
point where I said, okay, big shot, let's go in the hallway

(01:06):
half? Okay? It was?It was not as good as I thought
it was going to be. He'swatched it like eighteen times. I gotta
work on my technique. Apparently. We got to talk back on our iHeart
Radio app yesterday about that. Asa matter of fact, Hey, Court,
don't do that cartwheel. You havea sore shoulder this morning. Remember
that's real talk right there, talkand I ended up kind of tweaking my

(01:27):
shoulder again. Did you really I'mfine this morning? Bill? Oh my
gosh, Court, You're such anathlete. How do you power through it
every day? A little pickle juicehere and there, katorade and then I'm
on with my day, have pizza. If you want to see this video
again, we have it for youon our Facebook page, our Instagram at
ninety eight one of the Breeze andby the way, our talkback mic in

but now only thirty percent are currentlydoing it. Seventy five percent of
us have done it once, butnow only thirty percent are still doing it.
All right, if you think youhave the answer, eight seven seven
nine eighty one oh nine eight one, Court will give us the answer coming

(02:29):
up six twenty five here on theBreeze and Earth Breze six twenty six with
Smokey Robinson. Here on the MorningBreeze with Carolyn and Court, and every
weekday morning at six twenty five andat age forty, we do the Morning
Breeze Brain Teas. Okay, Courthere it is seventy five percent of adults

(02:50):
have done this at least once intheir lifetime, but only thirty percent are
doing it currently. Eight seven sevennine eight one oh nine eight one.
If you think you know the answer, Karen in San Francisco, what do
you think the answer is okay,I'm gonna say right, but that's a
great guess. Is it right? It is not right? Darn it all
right, Karen, thank you forcalling. Leanne and Hayward. What do

(03:14):
you think the answer is going tothe mall? Going to the mall?
Good guess. That is a greatguess because that's on the decline right now.
It is not to the mall.Okay, what is it? Correct
answer? Play an instrument? Playingan instrument? We used to all do
it as a kids, but notso much as it did you play an
instrument? Leon, No, No, my husband played guitar and my daughter

(03:37):
played trumpet. Do they play themnow? No? Yeah, no.
My husband still has his guitar, but but he doesn't play it anymore.
Oh, I've got the most beautifulflute in my garage. Bring can come
on? No. When we werefirst married, we didn't have a TV,
so he would Sara nade me playinghis guitar and singing to me while

(03:59):
I was cooking. You need tobring that back into your life. I
do, maybe so well. Leanne, thank you for calling. Have a
good day. Thank you very much. I really enjoy your worst show.

life. It could be something that'shappened to you, it could be something
that you've observed somebody else doing nicefor another person. Whatever the case may

eight one. Brighter Side is sponsoredby Shreven Cup and the Luxury time Pieces,
Fine Designers and Flawless Diamonds. Andas we just mentioned, we have
a Brighter Side waiting for us Courton our iHeartRadio app and that talkback microphone.

(05:10):
Yeah, this is where you justclick on the microphone button, leave
your message and it gets sent rightto us here in the studio. Good
morning. This is Christina and mydaughter Alyssa just graduated over the weekend this
last Saturday. She has associates inauto mechanics and she also earned a certificate
and maintenance and light repair. Sheis also fourklift certified. I am so

(05:36):
proud of her and I love herso much. Her daughter is kicking butt
and taking names. Yeah she is, and you can hear the pride in
mom's voice there. Yes, thatis great. One thing auto mechanics.
That is a class that when Iwas growing up, the girls took shop,
the boys took auto mechanic and whateverthat's called car fixing class nailed it.

(05:59):
I wish I would have taken thatclass because I don't know anything about
cars well, and it sounds likenow her daughter is going to be able
to do not only fix cars, but she's also trained in forklift operation amazing,
which not anybody nobody can just goout and drive a forklift. No,
they don't just hand over the keysfor a forklift. I believe me.
I've tried. That's a proud mop. What other story story for another

(06:20):
time. Okay, this does notsurprise me, but what a proud mom
Christina is. So thank you Christinafor the talkback again. You can leave
us a Brighter Side on our iHeartRadioWAP with that talkback microphone and as Court
mentioned, our app, the iHeartRadioApp for you in your app store ninety
eight one, The Breeze dot Com, or you can call us eight seven
seven nine eight one nine eight one, and a reminder, get those nominations

(06:43):
in for our Morning Breeze Person ofthe Week. Nathan is our current Person
of the Week. Yes, dowe call Nathan a champion? I would
call him. I think he's achampion for a week. Yeah, you
can nominate somebody to be a championtoo, or the person of the week.
Head on over to our website ninetyeight one The Breeze dot Com.
And then every Friday morning, justafter seven o'clock, we announced the winner
here on the Breeze Hotel, California. It's the Eagles at seven twenty four

(07:08):
here on the Morning Breeze with Carolynand Court. You know how we were
talking about Christina earlier on Our BrighterSide that her daughter just graduated with an
associate's degree as an auto mechanic rightand a forklift operator license. So cars
are not my jam. That isthe one thing I will go to the
experts for. I got into mycar this morning and it wouldn't start.

(07:31):
And it's a push button start asmany cars are now, but on my
keychain is a key. Yeah.So I tried to push the button,
nothing happened. I went, oh, I think I have a dead battery.
Tried to push the button again, then the dashboard lit up. I'm
like, okay, I think we'regood. Anyway, kept trying, a

(07:54):
car wouldn't start, and then Ithought, oh, great, I have
this key. How about I usethis? But where do we even put
the key? Where does that keygo? Does it go somewhere? Well?
I think it goes in your doors. That there's probably a place in
your door for the key. OhI don't know. I haven't looked,
but I don't think there's a placeanymore with the electronic keys for it.
Actually, this is why I don'tthink, and this is where I feel.

(08:16):
I'm gonna say, not young uhhuh, that I just need a
good old fashioned key for emergencies andrelying on the push button when it's not
working. But if your battery's dead, a key's not gonna Well, the
cars started, but it might bedead right now in the garage show.
Okay, oh, good luck onthat. So it's the weirdest thing that
they give you these keys. Idon't think there's a key thingy on the

(08:37):
door. There should be. Ifthere's a key, there's got to be
a key thingy somewhere. That's myquestion is where does this key go in
the thingy which might be who knows? You need to go around and do
some examinations. This is the mostuntechnical conversation. You know what we should
do? Call Christina's daughter from theBrighter Side, because she'll tell me exactly
what to do. We go.I don't know if anybody listening has any
idea what to do with the quotenow known as key eight seven seven one,

(09:03):
and maybe just correct us on whatthe proper term for key thing.
He should be coming up on theshow at eight twenty five this morning,
just under an hour from now,it's your chance to win tickets to go
see Janet Jackson next month. She'sgoing to be at the Chase Center June
twelfth and all week long We've hadyour ticket hookup and we'll do it again
this morning, eight twenty five.Another chance to win here on the Morning

(09:24):
Breeze. It's the Morning Breeze withCarolyn and Court and Leanne Rhymes at seven
point thirty nine. I saw yesterdaythat Chuck E Cheese made the official announcement,
Like we kind of knew this wascoming, but now they have announced
the animatronics that we grew up.If you went to Chuck E Cheese as
a kid, you remember that JasperT. Jowls or whatever was that his

(09:46):
name. You apparently know more aboutthe character names than I do. I
just know Chuck E. Cheese hashad a band they played inside the Chucky
Cheeses. I'm looking up Jaspers Jowelsas we speak. Was he like the
drummer? I don't know. Ithink he was the purple thing with the
guitar. No, I think that'sGrimace at McDonald's. Okay, so I'm

(10:09):
confusing my fast food. I don'tknow. I don't know, but Jasperty
Jowls and all of the animatronics atChuck E Cheese are going away. We
heard that earlier this year, butnow they say by the end of the
year they're going to be gone,So we have an official kind of end
date. If you want to getin there and see those animatronics do their
thing. Yep, Jasperte Jowels,he was the guitarist. I just looked

(10:33):
it up. Okay, I'm thatboy with this brain can do so.
How many birthday parties at Chuck ECheese's did you attend as a kid?
This is why I know so muchabout Jaspert Jowels. Not only do I
ten birthday parties at Chuck E Cheesewhen I grew up, but I had
my birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese. Wow? How about you? I
did, however, celerate my thirtiethbirthday at Chuck E Cheese. Your thirtiethithday?

(10:54):
Yeah, I was making up forall the lost time as a kid.
And well, actually my wife eightup for it by celebrating my thirtieth
part That's actually pretty cute. Didyour wife give you tokens and bring in
a birthday cake from outside at all? Got the Oh you did birth birthday
cake from outside? Had the pizzafrom inside? Oh good? Did you
play duck Hunt and the sit downpackman with some ski ball? How great?

(11:16):
Was that, But how bad didit stink when well, you didn't
do this as a kid. ButI feel bad for the parents when they
used to take their kids at ChuckE Cheese growing up because the parents were
throwing the birthday party? Are theones that had to dish out the tokens
to everybody? How expensive was thatyou buy a package? I loved it
so now to hear that these thingsare going away, these animatronics, I'm
a little bit sad. It soundslike between the two of us, you're

(11:37):
going to miss them the most.I think that's a very obvious eight seven,
seven nine, eight one oh nineeight one. Maybe you loved going
to Chuck E Cheese for your birthdaygrowing up as a kid, having your
parties there. What was your favoriteplace to have a birthday party as a
kid. You could also reach uswith our iheartradiop that Talkback Mike and coming
up this morning eight twenty five Anotherchance to win Janet Jackson concert tickets Yes

(12:01):
June twelfth at the Chase Center.Your chance to win those tickets to be
at that show. Be here ata twenty five to win back Street Boys.
It's the Morning Breeze with Carolyn andCore. Good morning. So Carolyn,
I've been giving you brief updates aboutSloan, my youngest daughter, and
her first job where she makes thoseasa E bowls. Oh yeah, yeah,

(12:22):
yeah. They call them smoothie bowls. Apparently it's the more practical term.
I've never had one. It's fruit. It's delicious. Well, it's
like a smoothie. It's like afruit smoothie. And then you do like
coconut and fruit and okay, allsorts of granola sings poppings here, yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So she's been doing that,
but my wife and I are tryingto figure out the best way to coach
her in being a good employee.Okay, we found out the other day

(12:45):
that she's been accidentally making the messingup some orders. Oh and she realizes
it in real time she's doing it, but she doesn't correct it. Well
that's like us with this show.I mean, it happens daily here.
Come on, well did she tellyou this? Though? She'll come home
and she's like, yeah, Imessed up these two guys orders today.
I switched the almond butter with thepeanut butter. And then she's like,

(13:07):
I hope he doesn't have peanut allergies. Okay, well, it sounds like
it's very important that this coaching happensbecause that could be so dangerous. It
can be, and we're again we'retrying to like threatening because something she needs
to learn on her own. Yeah, other things were like in this case,
we're like no, no, no, If that's the mistake you make,
then you stop and you correct itbecause you have allergies. Yeah,

(13:30):
you have to correct that. Imean, like, that could be somebody's
life. I'm also surprised though, that the manager of where she works isn't
taking that more seriously because again, could be life threatening. Well, i'll
tell you the reason why. Thatmanager is like maybe a year and a
half older then Sloan. So there'sa reason why there's not a lot of
managerial oversight. This is why Idon't eat out with Celiac. I have

(13:52):
Celiac, and so I can't affordsomebody slipping gluten into my meal. Sure,
because then my reaction not life threatening, but definitely a reaction from that.
So I get it. We're gonnaget her there, We'll get it
all figured out. Please do sosooner than later. If we eat those
smoothie bowls. Oh my gosh, okay, good to know. I'm not
even gonna ask where she like, where her store is, because I don't.

(14:13):
We'll keep that a seat. Idon't, I don't want to know.
We're at eight seven seven nine, eight one oh nine eight one.
Give us just a few minutes. We're gonna have a chance for you to
go see Janet Jackson. People areso fired up about this show, and
