Biography
Latin rock band from San José, Costa Rica, formed in January of 1998 by former classmates at Don Bosco's School. The name of the band is an abbreviation of 13 millas de libertad (13 miles of freedom). In August of 1999, 13 ml traveled to Panama to start recording its first album, produced by Evan Rodaniche. By that time, the 13 ml lineup was singer Joan Cerdas Serrano, drummer Darwin, bassist Claudio López Sánchez, percussionist Osvaldo, guitarist Mario Mejia, trumpeter Jean Jaques González, and trombonist Richard Cortéz. ~ Drago Bonacich
