1970s Film Stock

Producing artful, abstract soundscapes with electric guitar and a wealth of electronics, 1970s Film Stock is the project of musician and recording engineer Eddie Garcia. Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Garcia was a preteen when he first began playing guitar, and by age 13 he was recording his own material using his family's VCR. In his teens, he divided his time between playing in bands, teaching himself the basics of recording, and running sound for other local groups.
