Cut Copy mix dance-friendly grooves with vintage new wave and synth pop sounds to create a hybrid that sounds good both in a club setting and at home. Singer and songwriter Dan Whitford's knack for melody and the group's atmospheric feel was captured first on the 2008 album In Ghost Colors and its indelible single "Hearts on Fire."
