The group A Barca do Sol, formed by musicians who would be famous in different assignments (Jaques Morelembaum for his work with Caetano Veloso, Egberto Gismonti, and other artists, along with his Quarteto Jobim/Morelembaum, Ritchie as pop singer/composer, Nando Carneiro who played and recorded with Egberto Gismonti, among others), never enjoyed their deserved success.
