Kerry Livgren (b. 18 September 1949, Kansas, USA; guitar, vocals) wasted little time after leaving Kansas before embarking on a solo career and putting together AD. Alongside Michael Gleason (vocals, keyboards), Dave Hope (bass) and Dennis Holt (drums), Livgren used the platform to peddle his new-found Christian beliefs (which had been a factor in the dissolution of Kansas).
