Agent Provocateur

London, England-based indie band Agent Provocateur comprises Sugar J (percussion), Joseph Corre (vocals) and Daniel Peppe (bass). They initially described themselves as ‘the rhythms of the Chemical Brothers with the psychobabble of the Happy Mondays'. Their debut single, ‘Kicks', was released in 10-inch format on Wall Of Sound Records in 1995, and saw the band combine rock guitar with samples in a manner not dissimilar to that espoused by Urban Dance Squad.
