Aimi Kobayashi

One of Japan's most-honored pianists of her generation, Aimi Kobayashi was a veteran of the stage by her early teens. She made the finals of the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition and has joined the roster of the Warner Classics label. Kobayashi was born in Ube, Japan, on September 23, 1995, and took up the piano at three. She remained at home until 2007, studying with Yuko Ninomiya beginning at age eight.
