Best-known as the bassist and lead singer with Puerto Rican garage rockers Davila 666, AJ Davila stepped out as a solo artist in 2014 with his debut album, the tough, rollicking, and stylistically broad Terror Amor. Following extensive international touring in support of Davila 666's 2011 album Tan Bajo, the group went on hiatus, and in October 2012 Davila began work on his solo project.
