Belgian jazz trio Aka Moon -- Fabrizio Cassol (alto sax), Michel Hatzigeorgiou (electric bass), and Stéphane Galland (drums) -- have been together since the early '90s. Taking their name from a culture of Pygmies, Aka Moon's music is a highly original blend of jazz, rock, world music, modern composition, and more. During the group's career, they've augmented their sound from time to time with other players/instruments (keyboards, guitar, etc.).
