Colombian singer Jorge Andrés Alzate Ríos was born in Medellín in 1980. Of humble origins, he emigrated to Los Angeles in his early twenties where he managed to save enough money to complete his studies working a variety of jobs. However, having learned the piano as a child and writing songs in his teens, music had always been his passion.
