Amaury du Closel

The French conductor Amaury du Closel specialized in music of 20th-century composers who were repressed by their governments. He has a wide range of other noteworthy accomplishments as well, including the founding of one of the first historically oriented ensembles to emphasize the performance of 20th-century music. Amaury du Closel, who was also a composer, made a number of recordings, including a collection of national anthems.
