Amy Porter

Among the leading American flutists, Amy Porter is also a prominent educator. She has given the premieres of various works and is the dedicatee of Michael Daugherty's flute concerto Trail of Tears. In addition to her teaching responsibilities at the University of Michigan, Porter founded the Anatomy of Sound website and has issued instructional videos.
