A native of Philadelphia, pop singer Ana Lovelis studied a variety of performance disciplines in her teens, including classical ballet and musical theater. However, after high school Lovelis relocated to New York City and became involved in the arty/edgy club scene, most notably playing in a punk ukulele covers band.
