Biography
With their antics of playful pop, the Anchormen's silly placement of loosely structured content stuck out amongst their hometown of Somerville, MA. Reflecting towards the musical inspiration of They Might Be Giants and the Pixies, the lineup of Chris Braiotta (bass), Jef Czekaj (drums), Heath Row (vocals), and Tom Scanlon (guitar) eventually self-released their first full-length entitled The Boy Who Cried in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco
