Angélique Mauillon

Angélique Mauillon is one of the few harpists to specialize in the historical versions of her instrument. She often performs in concert with her brother, baritone Marc Mauillon. Angélique Mauillon and her brother grew up in Montbéliard in eastern France, near the Swiss border. She began harp lessons there and enrolled at the Regional Conservatory of Lyon, studying modern harp with Christophe Truant, winning several prizes; she also pursued a program in musicology.
