Antonella Arancio

Born in Catania in 1974, Italian singer Antonella Arancio was a regular presence at the Sanremo Festival in the mid-'90s. Arancio released her debut album, Grande Amore Davvero, in 1994, followed one year later by Antonella Arancio. When the latter proved remarkably successful with Latin American audiences, Arancio recorded a Spanish version of the album that included "Recuerdos del Alma," the biggest hit of her career. With only sporadic festival or television appearances, Arancio virtually disappeared from show business in the new millennium.
