Switzerland-based producer Apoll makes finely crafted minimal techno and acid tracks, in addition to running the Tongut label. Originally part of the EBM scene in Germany, he released music as part of several bands since the late '80s before relocating to Switzerland in 1991 and concentrating on techno. He released a few singles by the end of the decade, then launched Tongut in 2000. His material also appeared on labels such as Sub Static and Gyro Trax.
