Aquilo

Consisting of Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher, Aquilo are a British duo who make atmospheric, melancholy, downtempo electronic pop songs. Nearly all of their songs are about heartbreak, loss, and regret, but tracks such as 2014's "Human" (produced by kindred spirit SOHN) contain a small flicker of hope. The pair gained a following through their live performances as well as several heavily streamed and playlisted singles, and they made their full-length debut with Silhouettes in early 2017.
