Arisa is an Italian pop singer whose debut single, "Sincerita," was a chart-topping smash hit upon its release in 2009. Born Rosalba Pippa on August 20, 1982, in Genoa, Italy, she was offered a major-label recording contract with Warner Music after winning the Mia Martini award, a first-place prize for newcomers at the Sanremo Music Festival.
