Arthur Fagen has rightly earned the reputation as one of the most versatile conductors before the public today. He has conducted operas at the world's major opera houses, including at the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and Deutsche Oper Berlin, and many others. He has guest conducted around the world and has held several important posts with opera companies and orchestras. Fagen was born in New York City on February 24, 1951.
