Atos Trio

The ATOS Trio, in the words of the players, "strives to convey the spirit of string quartet playing to the piano trio realm." The group's programming and recordings have mixed standard trio repertory with national themes. The ATOS Trio was formed in Germany in 2003 by violinist Annette von Hehn, pianist Thomas Hoppe, and cellist Stefan Heinemeyer, taking its name from the initial sounds of the first names of its members.
