Automatic

Automatic are a trio from Los Angeles who play a coolly detached form of new wave/post-punk marked by driving rhythms and droning synthesizers, as heard on their 2019 debut Signal. The dystopian yet danceable Excess followed in 2022. Automatic formed in 2017, consisting of synthesizer player Izzy Glaudini, drummer Lola Dompé (formerly of Blackblack, and the daughter of Bauhaus' Kevin Haskins), and bassist Halle Saxon-Gaines, with all three members sharing vocals.
