Brooklyn-based DJ/producer duo Baalti make cutting-edge club music which embraces their South Asian heritage, incorporating samples from Bengali disco and Hindustani classical music. After releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2021, Baalti gradually shifted from smooth, cruising club tracks to the more bass-heavy, peak-time heaters of 2025's acclaimed Mela. Baalti collaborated with Anish Kumar as the group Stunt Doubles, and released the album Threads with Lapgan in 2026.
