Biography
French producer Bambounou makes detailed, polyrhythmic dance tracks influenced by U.K. techno, IDM, and tribal house as well as astrophysics and dystopian sci-fi. First appearing on French electro label YounGunZ Entertainment in 2010, he released a collaboration with Joakim before attracting the attention of German pranksters Modeselektor, who signed Bambounou to their 50Weapons imprint. He continued pushing his complex, club-forward sound further with two full-lengths for the label, Orbiting (2012) and Centrum (2015). He then issued material on AD 93 before launching his own ...
