Raised in Szczecin, Poland, violinist Bartek Niziol began lessons on the violin at five, studying with Stanislaw Slusarek and Tadeusza Szeligowskiego. At 12, he studied with Jadwiga Kaliszewska in Poznan, and after graduating from the Academy of Music there, he studied with Pierre Amoyal in Lausanne, and participated in master classes held by Zakhar Bron, Ruggiero Ricci, Mauricio Fuks, and Michael Frischenschlager.
