Following in the footsteps of Daft Punk and Cassius, the Parisian duo Basic Tape serve up a stylish mix of disco, house, and pop. Sav Milot and Ben Emard met at sound engineering college, where they were in the same study group, and soon combined Emard's guitar prowess with Milot's knowledge of dance and pop styles.
