This Brighton, England-based six-piece band mingled ethnic drumming with house music, with vocals by Sharon Scott (who previously worked with Soul II Soul). Formed in 1992, they attracted the powerful advocacy of Kiss-FM disc jockey Patrick Forge (b. 21 May 1962, Ipswich, Suffolk, England) after they handed over a tape at a Talkin' Loud Records club night in London.
