Formed in Los Angeles, California, USA, in the late 80s, Beau Nasty typified the region's fascination with all things bombastic and overwrought. Playing slick, over-produced hard rock, Mark Anthony Fretz (vocals), Brian Young (guitar), George Bernhardt (guitar), Doug Baker (bass) and Mike Terrana (drums) made their debut for WTG Records in 1989 with Dirty But Well Dressed. The title was somewhat ironic, given that the songs it contained were all presentation and little substance.
