Biography
Formed toward the end of 2010, lo-fi indie pop four-piece Being There met at university in Manchester, England, before they relocated to London to concentrate on making music. Members Sammy Lewis (guitar, vocals), James Robinson (bass, vocals), Tom Rapanakis (drums), and Nick Olorenshaw (guitar) drew on a collective nostalgia for their carefree and boundless teenage years, which inspired their youthful and raw sound.
