Bend Sinister

Taking their name from a dystopian 1947 novel by Vladimir Nabokov, Canada's Bend Sinister's compelling blend of indie pop and progressive rock draws from a wide array of artists, including Queen, ELO, Supertramp, Can, Steely Dan, and Black Sabbath. Formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2001 and led by vocalist/keyboardist Dan Moxon, the band issued an EP, The Warped Pane, ahead of their full-length debut, 2005's Through the Broken City.
