Inspired by the ultra-brutal and hyper-complex death metal aesthetic pioneered by Canadian clinicians such as Cryptopsy and Neuraxis, technical death metal band Beneath the Massacre emerged in 2005 with the punishing Evidence of Inequity EP. Since their debut, the band has issued a string of innovative deathcore efforts including Dystopia (2008) and Fearmonger (2020).
